“Had the bean lounge ticket, which made for a very nice experience. The bean lounges are in a reserved section near the front so you don’t have to worry about coming really early to reserve a spot. The popcorn was unlimited with the bean lounge ticket and really good. Would come back again. Make sure to bring a blanket as it can get very cool at night.”

“Been a long while since I was last there. Currently, it has the feel of the Opera House food and drinks area which I always thought was lush! Seats are comfortable and screen and audio are top quality. Staff are helpful and friendly.”

As an audience member the sound is bright and crisp. The Independent is an old theatre of medium size. All seats give a great view. I hope to be there again one day.”

“I initially enrolled in the 4week beginners improv course to dare myself out of my comfort zone. Oh yes it did, but in a place that allowed you to lean in as much (or as little) as you wanted. Taking a performance approach compared to other presentation courses was fun. Our group had an assortment of corporates, students, older and younger. Sophie was excellent in creating an encouraging environment and a no judgement policy promoted creativity within the group. Too much fun that I’ve booked into the beginners extension course:)”
