“Tidy clean little restaurant with great food. Staff members were friendly and attentive. We asked for soft shell crab with yellow curry which is not on the menu but the chef was nice enough to cater that for us. Super yummy! Highly recommend the yellow soft shell crab, crispy port belly and tom yum gong. Pad Thai was a bit salty but we asked for some sugar and it was nice.”

The food was excellent and fresh. We also had fried ice cream for dessert. The whole experience was fantastic. Definitely will be back when we come up this way again.”

“Wow, what a truly amazing fine dining experience at the lower Blue Mountains. From the moment we walked in Jedda made us feel very welcome with a nice chat, friendly chat. Then Leisa explained the menu and ger and Daniel's story. The food is just out of this world. We chose the Marri menu and wine pairing, and each dish was more spectacular than the the other. My favourites, if I had to choose, was the Duck, Beef Cheeks and Douglas Fir ice cream. Compliments to Daniel and his team. Michael who looked after our tabke and the wine pairing, was friendly, charming and knowledgeable. Now let's talk about the ambience and decor, truly exceptionalvand luxurious. It was nice and quiet where we didn't have to talk over the noise, as the acoustics are amazing. The bathroom, well that is just next level gorgeous and so clean. Compliment to Paul for the build.what an amazing family and staff. Was a spontaneous choice on the day, but so glad we found it. We will be back for more, again and again. “This place does amazing birthday cakes! We ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday and were just so happy with the service and the cake itself. I gave quite a vague brief (enchanted theme, 6th birthday, favourite colour purple) and they nailed it, and provided the most beautiful cake which fit the occasion perfectly. It tasted fantastic too (chocolate sponge with raspberry mousse). My husband and I agreed that for the size and elaborate decoration it was very good value. We will definitely going to ichai for cakes in the future.”

“I took my mum for dinner and we both loved our meals. Mum had the garlic, chilli prawns with a delicious bread and I had the ravioli. It was the best I've had in years. The service was good too. It's byo so we took our own wine to compliment the food. Will definately return”

“We went to the Ori for my mums 87th birthday last night (25/6/23) The staff were wonderful, the service was excellent , the food was fantastic and came in good time. They even spoilt my mum with a little birthday cake with candles and sang happy birthday. When the staff found out we were there for a birthday celebration they added decorations to the table. Thanks Ori staff, we have always loved the service and atmosphere no matter what time of the day we go there to eat.”

“After two horrific experiences in our Katoomba vacation, my expectations were quite low. The rating on this place was only a 3 too, so I said let's go check out somewhere and have low expectations. At first glance the place looks amazing, the restaurant itself gives this cosy feel, we came for dinner and even had a 2 year old brat with us. Our waitress was awesome, she was so welcoming and was handling the whole front by herself and she did a great job. We ordered yellow curry with a mix of seafoods and some other chicken curry food. The rice had to be ordered separately, but came in this nice fancy pot. The food was spectacular, flavourful, I'm so surprised people have given this place negative reviews, my experience was the complete opposite. You guys are doing an awesome job. My next time in Katoomba, will definitely feature another night here. All up with alcohol it costed us like $60. What an amazing place. I wish we could sit outside next time.”
