“We had our Boxer, Hugo, stay at Sydney Pet Resort for 5.5 weeks. We were going overseas and Hugo had never been away from home so we were quite nervous. Many thanks to Marc and his team for the care and love towards Hugo. They were sure to meet every request, answer questions and were prompt with updates on how Hugo was going throughout the stay. Hugo can be fussy at times, particularly with food, and they were very quick to advise me and adjust to his needs. We are keen to bring Hugo back for day trips and will certainly return should we need someone to look after our boy. A big thanks to Sydney Pet Resort.”

“My husband and I spent our 3rd year wedding anniversary weekend here (rather than spending roughly the same amount on a hotel room in the city) and can’t rave about it enough. The house is beautiful and equipped with literally everything you can imagine. Angelo met us on arrival and gave us the tour and showed us how everything worked (including automatic gas fireplace and jacuzzi). All in all a lovely relaxing and romantic get away which we’d recommend highly. They can also accommodate up to 12 people (kid friendly) so we can’t wait to go back with the family. Thank you Alannah and Angelo, the breakfast supplies and fruit basket were a special touch. :-)”

“Our beautiful whippet Mia a15yo developed a growth on her mouth (melanoma?)..3 different vets gave me all different opinions and quotes that were not clear but instead ambiguous and seemed infinite with no outcome or assurance they could do anything and what the final budget would be. One of them even refused to do anything because it was so complex. Dr Zammit, was straight to the point, empathetic and gentle, yet pragmatic. He attempted to remove, which he did successfully and with minimal pain to Mia, and was really honest with us prior saying it is only short term and it will come back quickly but at least we can have that extra time (in this case 3-4 weeks) to spend as much time as possible with her and accept her fate. When the time did to make the decision for Mia to have some peace, because it grew back, he was again empathetic and gentle but pragmatic at the same time. Thank you Dr Zammit to you and your team for being there for Mia, my wife and kids at this sad time and making the difficult process easier. .”

“The staff are always friendly and super helpful. Asked for notes on one of our dogs and staff asked if it was for insurance. Advised her yes. She advised that they could make claim on our behalf. Thought that was brillant. Will make my life easier. The staff are also very concerning and great when dealing with both our dogs. They go the extra mile”

“I drive all the way from Sydney City to visit Allen the vet here. Firstly they are very well priced. Secondly there is no fuss. They just do what needs to be done. No unnecessary tests or fuss. Love the country-style way of practicing. Always friendly and helpful.”

“I can not recommend Dr Markus enough!! You can easily tell that he loves what he does & that he genuinely cares for the animals. He took his time explaining to us the possible reasons for our fur babies illness & went though the possible treatment options we may require down the track. If you are looking for a compassionate, experienced vet that will treat your fur baby as if it’s his own, don’t hesitate to go see Dr Markus!!”

“Been taking my cat here for the last 4 years after he was hospitalised with a serious blockage. They've always looked after him well since then. They offer boarding too which is convinent in a rush. Highly recommend.”

“The staff were super welcoming & helpful. The room was spotless so fresh & clean I couldnt fault it with all the conveniences that you need. The bed was really comfortable & the bathroom has a spacious shower with good water pressure. I would highly recommend this lovely motel to anyone & look forward to staying there again. A great find at the last minute . I'm so happy to have found such excellent accommodation.”

“I love Hawkesbury and surroundings. It's my go-to place when I need MY TIME. I usually go to Crown Plaza and have for years, but the food is not that good anymore, unfortunately. We haven't been away in a while but decided to try out a new place in Hawkesbury. I have always been a bot cautious about moteks due to bad experiences, but the Hawkesbury race club did NOT let us down! When we walked in the foyer to go up to our room, it smelled so clean. Everything looked and smelled clean. The room was no exception!! We had a king bed and an extra bed in the room. The room was spacious,clean, and had a bath with shower..... you have to pay extra for this in many hotels.... there was a TV in the room, and to my eldest daughters' joy, the tv channels were all shown on a laminated paper. There was a kitchenette with a microwave,cuttlery, plates,glasses, and cups. We could easily stay for a week. The beds were soft, and the kids fell asleep fast and didn't move all night. We had breakfast at the motel. Lots of different cereal, coffee, bread, fruit cups, flavoured milk, and more. This is a self-serve breakfast bar. The staff were extremely nice, accommodating and great humour. The people who run the motel were there and made ud feel extremely welcome. We exchanged a few stories and had a great laugh. We are DEFINITELY going back!!!! Can't wait for summer to try out the outddor pool area!!!! Thank you for a great stay. Will definitely receive to all.”

“My husband and I had our reception at the Hills Lodge and honestly were so blown away by and pleased. Khristine the wedding coordinator was such a joy to correspond and plan the wedding with. She was always both friendly and professional, quick to respond to emails and super organised with everything which made the process of planning the wedding day so easy and stress free, just how it should be! The quality of every service on the day was exceptional, the value of the wedding package, the staff, the food, the setup of the venue and the accomodation! We couldn't recommend the Hills Lodge more for your wedding day!”
