Motel in Kiama

“We booked for a full week starting late October well prior to the Sydney lockdown. When we finally were able to go, we had to start on 1 November. Valerie found an extra day to tack onto the days we had left, making 4 in a row, and then found another block for the remaining 3 days 2 weeks later. so although disjointed, we managed to get two holidays. Position is superb - looking down over the surf beach from our balcony. Although on the ground floor, it was several feet above street level, so we could sit in privacy on the balcony to have a meal, looking out, but no one could see in. It was also well protected from the winds. The main room and the bedroom were a fresh, modern design. The main living room was quite spacious. Bedroom and bathroom were more compact but still well decorated. A well supplied set of kitchenware for those who like to cook - we ate out or had takeaway watching the waves roll in. After our first stay, I commented to Valerie that the only thing that didn't work for me were some of the decorations - I carry 2 sets of keys, glasses, wallet and watch, which I want to put on my bedside table but needed to shift so I could fit them. No big thing. But when we came back for our second stay, those minor things had been removed. Perfect customer service - Valerie was terrific for the whole trip(s)”

“I actually had to cancel my booking because of a personal matter and no longer needed the Cabin. The staff were so helpful, they replied to my email very quickly and they gave me a full refund. It was so helpful as I was already under a lot of stress, Narelle made me feel so calm and she was very happy to help and answered all my questions. If I ever need or want to stay in Kiama, this is where I will be booking. Highly recommend!!”

“My mum and I had a wonderful stay at Nova Kiama. I want to thank all the staff especially Elizabeth and Anya. Elizabeth was super helpful when trains were cancelled and I had to ammend the date of our stay. She was so understanding and empathetic. Anya, is lovely and the night that we stayed she dropped our order from the menu app to our room and was accommodating when we requested a later check out 11.30am. The hotel itself was close proximity to the rain station, very handy. We caught the train from Central Stn in Sydney 2.20min train ride. We were able to check in at 1pm which was great. Dropped our stuff and wandered around town. The room itself was a good size, unfortunately we were given a queen's bed rather than twin beds so mum and I shared. I would highly recommend to make sure to ask for twin bed or queen to make sure you get the bed configuration you want. The size of the room is spacious enough for the 2 of us for an overnight stay. I just wished they had a full length mirror in the room. We found the room clean and in great condition. Nice showers and amenities like De'Longhi kettle, iron and hairdryer. We would stay here again if we come back to Kiama as it's in a very handy location, close to everything.”

“Nicely decorated reception area, the ladies booking us in were friendly and helpful. The room was newly renovated, clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and the small kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Location was excellent, close to shops, cafes, the harbour and beaches.”

“Overall our Sebel experience was excellent. The team were friendly and helpful. You couldn’t ask to be more central and Yves restaurant food and service brilliant. We enjoy fresh air circulating at night and we couldn’t do that during our stay. Next time would request operational window or balcony access.”

“Off to a flying start with how great the host is, Nick, he gives you the run down and then you're off to do you. The views are spectacular, and all the photos shown guarantee what you get. Some of the photos show the Black Prince cabin that we stayed in, absolutely can't go wrong with any of them though. Short drive to Kiama with plenty to do in terms of hikes, walking trails, lookouts and scenic icons. I Absolutely recommend this place to anyone for an amazing getaway.”

“If I could leave more than 5 stars in a review then I would. My family and I stayed for 4 nights and it was the most special time! We rented headland house + the Range and it was perfect. We were so sad to leave! Every detail in the house is just perfection. I would highly recommend adding a grazing board from Dandelion and Mallow and having the lovely Kirsty in from South Coast Paella was a highlight too and we enjoyed the leftovers for days. Anything you want, Katie will make it happen. We are already planning a return trip.”

“We waited almost a year for availability and it was absolutely worth the patience and the cost! This isn’t a typical farm stay - there’s so many extras piled in… from the freshly baked loaf/eggs picked from the chickens, Sid’s tour of the property and animal feeding (sheep, alpacas, pigs, chickens, birds, fish), hot tub, fire pit toasting marshmallows, tree swing. The house itself is also very luxurious and clean with plenty of fresh linen and underfloor heating. A welcome hamper was also provided - honestly no fault to this place! We would love to come back with friends and family.”

“I booked this accomodating at Christmas time as a gift for my wife. After much research I decided upon Shutters By The Sea and upon arrival I was more than happy with the decision. The apartment was immaculate , well laid out and comfortable. I was happily surprised by the view which took in all the way up the coast to the lighthouse. Marilyn supplied us with a variety of breakfast foods, cereals etc as well as a bottle of champagne upon arrival and some beautiful cheese and nibble’s. Kiama is an ideal spot for a holiday and being within a 1 1/2 hour drive from Sydney makes it ideal for weekend retreats. We will certainly be returning to Kiama and Shutters By The Sea in the near future”

“This is the fifth time we have stayed at Terralong Terrace Apartments. We keep going back because they are very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Really conveniently located a short walk to the supermarket in one direction, and the main shopping strip in the other. The pool is always clean and solar heated. We have never had anything to complain about and will happily return.”

“We stayed in a family room on the ground floor for two nights. Brian and Kristene were so helpful and friendly, we’ll definitely be back. Gerringong is a beautiful place and the Park Ridge Retreat is so close to all the cafe and shops. There’s a playground across the road and charging for electric vehicles in the hotel’s underground carpark which was so convenient.”

“What a cool little pub. Stopped in for a couple of bevvies after a walk through the forest and thoroughly enjoyed the memorabilia displayed throughout the pub.”

“Welcoming Good food Reasonable prices We love this pub. We keep going back to eat at Jack's Grill. The food is better than your typical pub fare and prices are reasonable. The staff at Jack's Grill have always been welcoming and given good service. We like to take our Dad there. His mobility is not great. The pub is easy for him to get into and around inside. We much prefer here to the nearby pub, The Hill. The view is not as special, but they are not anxious to kick you out after only one hour. Nice areas to sit in inside or in the pub courtyard”
