“Great fkn pub. Young lads behind the bar were delightful and welcoming. Charming and homely decor, prices were amazing for the location. The kind of place you could drink Guinness all afternoon. Will be back.”

“My wife and I and some friends dropped in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals served up. My Thai Beef salad was one of the best I've had in a long time, the depth of flavour and freshness was awesome, I can't wait to return and try more of this pubs menu.”
Oriental Hotel
“Best GF pizza in Newcastle? Without a doubt. Regular pizzas are also great and it's a great spot for beer and music. The Ori attracts a pretty trendy crowd and it's notable for not having any pokies. If a week goes by that we haven't popped in here its because we are out of town on holiday!”

The Dam Hotel
“Not actually a dam, pretty disappointed was expecting to see some beavers and I’m not talking about spitting game, however any place I can down a Stella then drive home at 120 is a good place in my book even if the old ball and chain don’t agree howay the lads”

Cronin's Gerringong Hotel
“Welcoming Good food Reasonable prices We love this pub. We keep going back to eat at Jack's Grill. The food is better than your typical pub fare and prices are reasonable. The staff at Jack's Grill have always been welcoming and given good service. We like to take our Dad there. His mobility is not great. The pub is easy for him to get into and around inside. We much prefer here to the nearby pub, The Hill. The view is not as special, but they are not anxious to kick you out after only one hour. Nice areas to sit in inside or in the pub courtyard”
Archibald Hotel
“Picture a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon. View of Sydney down below. Live music in the background. With the greatest pub feed to match. Can never go wrong up here. And everyone will agree”
The Katoomba Family Hotel
“Bistro was amazing. Greeted by a very friendly welcoming host who couldn't attend to my needs more. Start to finish superb. One of the best meals I've had. Drinks are amazing. I didn't stay at the hotel. I stopped and had dinner.”
East Hills Hotel
“The Bistro is pretty good. I love their Schnitzel. It's a great place for a casual weekend lunch with friends and there is an enclosed kids playground in the bistro to keep the Rugrats busy and keep their noise inside.”
Wisemans Inn Hotel
“We had the best value lunch today at the Wiso Pub! $15 huge schnitty with chips and mine with veg. The service was amazing and meal served quickly. The schnitty was soft & juicy not dry and was a double breast. The views over the river were spectacular. We will come back soon.”
Padstow Park Hotel
“Like stepping back in time. Front bar was reminiscent of years gone by when grand dad took me down the local for a lemon squash and a bet. Food was good and inexpensive. Service excellent. Beer range limited...no stout on tap or in bottles! Recommend as a friendly no frills old world pub...long may they remain!”
Regents Park Hotel
“Stayed at this old little pub for several nights. The customer service was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. They were attentive without being intrusive, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our visit. It's rare to find such excellent service these days, but this pub really delivered.”
Narwee Hotel

Horse and Jockey Hotel

The Boathouse Hotel Patonga
“Ate at the bistro. It's dog friendly, which is fantastic, and the leash-free beach is across the road. Huge range of drinks on tap, as well as reasonable wine options. Food was very good, with generous portions. I would say mains are $25-38pp, averaging at $30pp. Come early though, because there's usually a queue for a table from about 12 on the weekends.”
