Reservations for the motorized campsites can be made online or by phone. Campers must adhere to Leave No Trace Principles and follow rules and regulations outlined in the permit. Backpack campers are also permitted in most areas of the forest for one-night stays without a permit. Campfires are not permitted during high fire danger periods. Please plan accordingly and respect the natural resources at Forbes State Forest.
