"We were looking for staying in Meyersdale over night. We’re referred by the locals to this campground located just in town. Although the main entrance by Meyers Avenue looked like a regular neighborhood house, it became huge when we walked to its back. There was a covered stage that might fit many tents. The open campground was nice. There were a lot of benches and picnic tables. There were restrooms with showers. There was corn holes to play on as well."
"Great site. Lots of space. The owner is friendly and easy to get a hold of to make arrangements. I was able to hang my hammock under shelter along with my bike. The shower was much appreciated after riding the trail for a couple days. If I’m camping the trail again, I’m definitely coming back here. Walking distance to Sheetz and some other restaurants (if they are open)."
"Surprisingly great place! Exceeded my expectations in every way. I set my hammock up under a roof there was free fire wood and wifi. Plenty of room for tents throughout the yard and plenty of places to set up under a roof. Showers and bathrooms were very clean and spacious. I highly recommend this place. Its so conveniently located to restaurants too! Im on avery long bike journey (acrossthemapwithmatt.com) this has been a great and restful stop."
"Great camp for bike riders. Suzie has thought of everything: firewood, clothesline with pins, a can opener, wifi, boxes of games and a frisbee...all.stuff you might use while here. We are camped on a stage with a giant tent that has four older people in it. Altogether there were 10 people staying at the camp. Its quiet and feels safe. Bathrooms and clean and the single show is hot. A great deal for $15/tent."
"After biking 60 miles that day through mud and rain we were unsure when we arrived at this “campground” but it ended up being one of my favorite spots on our trip. You can camp anywhere on the grounds, they have bathrooms with showers, and electricity. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m on the GAP."
