“After a recent last minute visit, we are already trying to plan our return trip! A true hidden gem, not to be overlooked. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we cannot speak highly enough of them, they all had a smile on their face and chatted away to us even after a busy new years weekend. The location is ideal for anyone visiting Castlewellan Forest Park (which is also unreal). We ate at The Yard Restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and have absolutely no complaints - food and cocktails were delicious. The rooms are bigger than you'd expect, while still being cosy. They are spotlessly clean, as are the spacious bathrooms. The only negative we found was that we didn't allow ourselves enough time to spend here. Overall - we loved it here, and cannot wait to return soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway!”

“we did not stay over night at Enniskeen house as we had just called for some lunch and drinks, the food was very very nice the staff were helpful pleasant and made us feel that nothing was to much trouble. We will be back to stay the beautiful scenery was simply breath taking.”

“I loved staying in Millbrook their hospitality was some of the best I've ever received when staying in a hotel. Big shout out to the tall redhead gentleman who seemed to be leading the charge on the evening we stayed. Food was great both in the evening and with breakfast. Some constructive feedback though would be that our mattress wasn't great (although likely they would have fixed this if we had have flagged it) and the guest WiFi wasn't able to connect initially when we arrived. It did connect later though and when I did get on I was able to see why it would have had an issue later and would be more than happy to share this info with Millbrook themselves if they were to reply to this review with some contact details (I work Managed IT Services). Even with these 2 small points I couldn't mark them anything else than 5/5 and I would gladly go back!”

“Just back from an overnight at this hotel for my husbands birthday. Got a deal which included wine and chocs on arrival and 2 course dinner. From the moment we arrived the young lady behind reception couldnt have been more helpful, no sooner were we in our lovely room when our drinks and a delicious plate of homemade goodies arrived. Dinner later on was served in restaurant again staff couldnt be more helpful. Breakfast was amazing no complaints from us. Only negative i could comment on was bed was a bit hard for us but thats personal choice. Will we be back .....definately”

“Excellent host, excellent place to rest yourself. Close to Tollymore Forest and Newcastle. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, if you walked away from the table hungry, it was your own fault. Easy to find, even for driving on the wrong side of the road. My wife and I loved it, will definitely stay again when in the area.”

“We have just spent a week in the 'Wee Cottage'. The Green Holiday Cottages provided a brilliant base for our week away, the fast pace of life slowed down as we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings - the quiet shattered only by the friendly goats saying hello as we explored the path by the river. The communial area was brilliant for small gatherings , plenty of open space. There were also some swings and a slide for the younger visitors. Our accommodation was perfect, Mark & Jenny have created a magnificent place to stay. Thank you for a great week.”

“What a store, with such a great bunch of girls!! My family have been using Tui Newry for 10-15 years, looking at holidays that fit our needs. We have always found the staff polite and courteous and willing to help on every occasion! We have seen many changes within the shop especially in the last few years with covid, but however the staff have always been willing to alter holidays if needed and endeavour to find us quality accommodation and always our willing to help us get accommodation to help suit all our needs both within the resort and the airport. We would give this shop 10/10 at all times! Nothing is ever to much for any of the girls! Great management and a great team!!”

“This B&B was recommended by a relative due to so many positive aspects all of which were correct. The location provides fabulous and inspiring sea and mountain views. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and individually themed. The service from the owner, Maria, is second to none and she was so welcoming, friendly and attentive. My partner and I stayed for two nights at the end of June and we were given a fantastic room with a balcony. The house itself was easy to find and I used Google maps for straightforward directions, it is basically located parallel to the promenade and a short distance from the Slieve Donald Hotel. There is a service tray with tea and coffee in the room and the breakfast was delicious and cooked to order, I availed of the large fry on both mornings and it was great. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough and it is certainly the place to stay when visiting Newcastle.”

“Fantastic place to stay near the Mourne Mountains. Very clean, had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. Hosts Derek and Ciara went out of the way to make us feel at home and make sure we had everything we needed. So cozy, amazing views and hot tub was a joy after a big hike! Thank you!! “Fantastic Pub / Restaurant, amazing food and always a great atmosphere. Also dog friendly in the front bar, where you can also eat, which is a big bonus as most other venues in the local area do not allow dogs inside. They also have one of the best beer gardens I've ever seen, a real sun trap.”
