"Loved this place. I felt like I was staying in a haunted mansion from Scooby Doo. If you're looking for luxe accomodations Chelsea Mews is not it. But at this price, at this location, with this sort of vibe? I loved it. I'm already planning to stay here again. Anyone leaving a bad review for this place and Gary really doesnt know how to enjoy life."

He was a great guy to speak to about his place and the long history and memories he and his partner enjoyed there along with great guest. Absolutely will be returning often. "HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I visited this guesthouse for the first time 8 years ago and I keep going back because I have so many great memories. It just keeps getting better all the time. It is in a perfect location to use as a jumping board to go anywhere you want in New York. High Line is a short walk away. The room was very quiet, old-style and comfortable. One of the best gay guesthouses I have stayed at. I love it, and the owners are friendly and wonderful."
"I had a wonderful 7 nights stay. The staff are friendly and the owner of the hotel is extremely kind and will go to extremes to help your stay comfortable.Nothing seemed to be a bother. I was made to feel more than welcome on my arrival and the warm approach continued throughout my time there. I hope to return again one day.
