“Amazing place to visit very educational and what an aircraft! Hopefully the government will soon help with this project. Only $5 entry and they desperately need help with funds to finish the project. Only one left in the southern hemisphere!”

“Purchased amazing timber (recycled too) & even though it was NYE day, they were opened & only to happy to help! They had exactly what l wanted in stock (Bunnings was going to be end of January, given holiday period & actually more expensive). Staff helped load the timber, nothing was too much trouble. Totally recommend. Would try here first, before any timber purchases, in the future. Value for money, awesome quality & style.... tick, tick, tick. Thank you Timberzoo!! :-)”
A Twist of Willow Bed and Breakfast
“This was such an amazing find and a highlight from our trip to yarra. We got to pet kangaroos, besides going on the incredible nocturnal tour at the mount Evelyn zoo. For those who are still deciding, don’t think - just book if this place is still available. The owners of the b&b run the attached zoo - so you get to stay at a zoo! How fun! Very comfortable and very clean! We had a jacuzzi in our room which was pretty incredible! Strongly recommend this place!”
Wild Action Productions
“My 9 year old has just been to the junior zoo keeper for a day experience at Wild Action Zoo (for the second time), and she already wants to go again! This is such a unique experience for kids who want to work with animals in the future. The hands on learning the kids get over the course of 6 hours is amazing. Chris and the team are so welcoming and enthusiastic. Well worth it!!”

“Absolutely stunning display of roses massed in beds and trailing across arbours in every hue imaginable. Well worth a visit. Congratulations and thank you to the dedicated team of volunteers who care for the roses, and the Parks staff who do the mowing!”
Werribee Park
“Stunning grounds are accessible for free, small charge to enter the beautiful mansion, which we thought was well worth paying. Clean toilets accessible from outside the building. We had a light meal at The Refectory and I had the best scones I've had in many years. Excellent service, too. Planning to come back next time we're in Melbourne, for sure.”

“Great place that looks after retired race horses. Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Good to see Efficient, Brew, Apache Cat, Gailo Chop, Maluckyday, Makykbe Diva, Almandin, Prince of Penzance, Fields of Omagh in one place.”
Rose Garden
“From the first steps into this splendid garden, I thought that I was lost in a fairy world. The flowers were surprisingly beautiful in the spring sun and wind that year. The scent wafted out into the handkerchief I brought with me that day. Until now, even though I've left Victoria, I still remember the roses fluttering in the sun and the butterflies surrounding the colorful flowers of years ago. Those are beautiful moments that will never be forgotten.”
Morang Wetlands
“We went to Morang Wetlands to see the Kangaroo mobs. We arrived on Friday, March 13 after 6:00 pm. Animals tend to eat at dusk. The signs for the park indicate that the park closes at 7:00 pm, so we had to make it quick. It was rainy and chilly, but we got out to try our luck. About 5 minutes into our stroll we came across about a group of 12 kangaroos and then a group of a few more. When reached a large field we found it full of kangaroos, maybe 40 or 50. We stayed back and watched them. Two kangaroos persistently boxed each other. Had we had more time and more enjoyable temperatures I would have loved to spend several hours exploring the wetlands further.”

“Great views of the city. Wonderful place to relax on a nice day. Dog friendly.”

Myuna Farm Mobile Ark Animal Nursery
“Kathleen was easy to communicate with from the first point of contact. The entire process was so smooth. Had the animals come for my sons 1st birthday back in July 2021 (late review but better then never) although the girl was running late she stayed almost an hour booked time to make it up and was so professional and engaging with kids. The set up was great even though we had a small narrow space she just made it work. Kids still talk about the petty zoo to this day and have recommended to so many parents. Great value for money.”
State Coal Mine
“What a surprise, lots more to see than I expected, lots of history on the local mining, great for a day out, take a picnic, or eat in at cafe, open 10 to 4pm, to see it all you would probably need that time, very interesting, will return to do the actual mine.....”
