“Beautiful park in the inner suburbs. Easy proximity from lots of places. Lovely gorgeous walking trails. We ate at the main Boathouse, overpriced food but very nice. Very popular area, parking is precious, lots of families. Spent the afternoon basking in the sun, it was a great day.”

“If you’re in Geelong this is a gem to go and see. The museum takes you through the entire history of the CJ Dennys & Co Woolstore from its beginning, through to shearing machinery, living quarters, processing, and auctioning of the wool. The fit outs are so good that it feels like you are among the shearers. It’s a great family day out.”

“One of the best wildlife parks we've been to. Great for kids. The animal enclosures are so well looked after with very passionate zoo keepers. Easy to get around and to see the animals up close was a treat. The presentations were great and the animals were in perfect condition. Excellent place to visit.”

“Absolutely wonderful !! Highly recommend to everyone young & old, tourists & locals. Must see and do. We hand fed kangaroos, patted wombats saw echidnas, meerkats, penguins dingoes and lots more. The tour was great. Excellent knowledgeable staff. Very friendly and hands on. The kids 2-7 all loved it. Not expensive & a great day out. Can’t wait to meet the Tigers!!”

“I love taking the grand kids here. It's well layed out. Water play in the warmer months, BBQ playground equipment for various ages. Basketball court and open grassy area for running around or kicking a ball. Perhaps even laying a picnic blanket on the ground away from the crowds. Some covered areas available. Nearby stroll to wetlands where you can go on a nature walk to spot the local wildlife and few crows as well. Steep concrete surrounding the wetlands tends to attract children on bikes and skateboards ( Perhaps not the best spot for it council). Wife footpaths surrounding park great for cyclists too.”

“Great place To Take the kids and especially in summer as this is also a water park with limited attractions but good for toddlers when introducing them to play around water and a great place to cool off please note no swimming or ponds available these are just little spouts of water that come out of some of the play equipment. Overall kids had a ball will be coming here again”

“Great park to visit with kids 2-10 years old. There is both an old playground and a new playground with age appropriate equipment for 2 years and up. The older playground has a lot more shade and the new does not. There are shaded areas with picnic benches and BBQs. Toilet block. Small carpark to the side of the reserve to use.”

“Nice beach, away from all the business of St Kilda and main port Melbourne beach. Good place to kite board. Sand is clean and everyone is pretty chilled out. Water gets deep REAL quick, beware!”

“Amazing, you can see a lot of Animals and even feed canguros. Definitely a visit worth. Keep in mind, the animals there are not wild, more kept in different enclosures like in a zoo.”

“Do come early to get the best seats to watch the penguins stroll in, unless you've paid to view them from underground. The place is well maintained and managed to sneak a few pictures of the penguins. Great place for kids to learn about the penguins and conservation efforts to protect them. Highly recommended.”

“Beautiful reserve with lots of natural bushland, with walking trails throughout. Dogs are allowed on leash. Easy parking, perfect place to stretch your legs. I swear when you're in the middle of the reserve you can't hear any traffic noise. Also if you look carefully and stay quiet, there are a mob of Kangaroos that live here. A beautiful bush haven on the edge of suburbia. Highly recommended.”

“Beautiful park to take your dog for a walk on leash, with plenty of walking trails and some historic sites scattered around. The lake is stunning and there's plenty of birdlife on the waters edge. A few picnic areas and an interesting bridge across the lake, but otherwise a pleasant walking area.”

“Very nice and welcoming cafe that is part of a homewares store. The decor is beautiful and has a Mediterranean feel. There's a nice selection of Mediterranean dishes and they taste fresh and delicious. Will definitely be returning.”
