Formerly known as the Epping Animal Welfare Facility, this institution is managed by Whittlesea City Council in partnership with Merri-bek and Darebin Councils. Our mission is to achieve the best possible outcomes for both animals and our community. At the wat djerring Animal Facility, we have developed an operating model in collaboration with the three Councils to reduce euthanasia rates and maximize the number of animals reunited with their owners or placed in loving new homes.
