Visitors to Oxbow Lake Trail can enjoy a variety of native plant species, amphibians, and birds, including the northern spring peeper frog, bald eagle, and blue heron. The preserve also boasts beautiful blooms of mountain laurel and blueberry bushes, as well as a unique ecosystem supported by shallow waters even during dry summer months.
