Indian Tiffin Room Manchester
● Closed“Great place to eat some nice Indian food. Some of the items are a bit expensive but I think for the flavours and portion size it's acceptable. Also environment is very traditional Indian and friendly staff. If you need like enjoying some nice Indian meals. I would reccomend Indian tiffen room.”

Corn Exchange Manchester
● Open“Vibrant area with plenty of restaurants. Arndale centre towers adjacent to the corn exchange which does not have a dedicated car park. Parking can be a nightmare for first timers. The adjacent shopping malls offer paid parking at a premium so allow some time to navigate the maze of road works, one way streets and the short walk to your destination.”

Tenpin Manchester Printworks
● Open“Love this bowling alley, always got good offers for drink and bowl deals (think we paid £13 for two games and two drinks). Plus the arcade is decent and not too expensive either. Good central location too as it's right next to the tram stop, Shudehill bus terminus and Manchester Victoria station.”

Palace Theatre Manchester
● Open97 Oxford Street, Manchester M1 6FT, United Kingdom“Went to watch The Lion King. On the circle in row B. Really great show, it's a must watch. Leg room was tight. I'm 6ft 2 and I would definitely go for a front row seat next time. Easy to get too as the train station is 30 seconds away. Can't fault it.”

Holiday Inn Manchester - City Centre, an IHG Hotel
● Open“Stayed for a few nights, service from the staff was outstanding, I have very rarely seen such a feindly and dedicated bunch of people. I had a minor heath issue with my wife while staying and the female on duty in the early hours of the morning was outstanding arrange taxi, making sure my wife was OK and supplying advice. This person went out of her way the next day to check up on my wife to ensure she was OK. The young staff working in the dinning area were so helpful and friendly. All staff went out of there way to help and make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel as a 5 star accommodation.”

Premier Inn Manchester Salford Media City hotel
● Open“Great reasonably priced hotel, you always know what to expect with a Premier Inn and I think this stay was a little better. We only stayed for a night but felt taken care of, and made use of the features of the Premier Plus room, including the mini fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. After we arrived I went back down to ask if we could get any soya milk to make tea/coffee with, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful, and got us some from the kitchen to take up and use, and they definitely weren’t stingy about it, we got a litre! Mini fridge came in handy there. I’d highly recommend this hotel and the staff were just great. Also if you park in the MediaCityUK multi-storey car park adjacent to the premier inn, make sure you get your parking validated at reception to bring the price down to £11 for 24hrs”

Holiday Inn Manchester - Mediacityuk, an IHG Hotel
● Open“Cannot fault this place. Room was perfect, spotless and had everything we needed - including an iron, hairdryer plus extras like bath robes. Breakfast each morning was lovely, lots of choice and fresh made. We had room on the 16th floor so night time was just beautiful. Nothing was a problem for staff who were chatty and friendly even when it was super busy. Would most definitely stay here again.”

Safire Restaurant & Grill
● Closed“I came here for a private party organised to celebrate my sister in laws marriage. We booked for 42 people. They allowed us to arrive early to set up and we brought cakes which they put in the fridge for us. They asked us when we wanted the food to be served and gave me complimentary tea whilst we were setting up. They catered for our every need and were not too fussed when we didn't finish on time as we were booked until 9. The food was very nice especially the fresh naan. We had starters of chicken leg, fish and kebabs and 3 curries with rice and naan. My extended family are all Asian and they all complimented on the food that it was nice. The only criticism was that the serving dishes they used for the curry and rice were quite small which meant that they kept having to top up the food. The desserts were tea served with gulab jaman and ice cream. I normally don't like gulab Japan but it was warm and very nice as it wasn't too sweet. Would definitely recommend if you want to book a private party as its secluded from the main restaurant. There was also a prayer facilities available upstairs and the toilets were clean.”

Yara Restaurant
● Closed“I was having a meal at the Alderley Edge restaurant on Sunday Nov.7th which was my family treat to celebrate my 80th birthday on Tuesday Nov.9th. I have never felt so important, the staff were really attentive , the food was delicious and to top it off Irfan ( I think that was his name) dimmed the lights, played "happy birthday " music and brought me a delicious portion of Honey and Almond cake, enough for the four of us with a candle on it , courtesy of the management. What a lovely gesture! Top Class !!”

Hilton Manchester Deansgate
● Open“I was greeted almost immediately upon entering, by a lovely gentleman who asked me what I was looking for. He spotted my awe in the vast size of the bottom floor. I was given a very warm welcome and felt like a VIP. Chose the stairs as I was not too high up. Amazing place, quite surreal in that despite its size, there is still a personal hospitality from all of the staff, not impersonal. I was blown away.”

-
Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre
● Open“Really enjoyed my stay here. Clean, comfortable and quiet despite being pretty busy. What I really appreciated was the fact it appears to have enough staff. Ever since the pandemic we've had to deal with places being understaffed and all the negatives that brings. Here, you don't have to sit and be patient as some under-trained, overworked teenager struggles to accomplish basic tasks. There are enough people and they know what they're doing. They are also friendly in doing it. I'd definitely stay here again.”
-
