Dietary requirements were catered for without any bother. One of the best meals I have ever had! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! I honestly couldn't fault this restaurant , lovely ambience. I definitely recommend this place. Just go, you will not be disappointed! I can't wait to return!”

Betty & Dolly's Sandwich Bar & Tea Room
● Open167 Canterbury Road, Urmston, Manchester M41 0SE, United Kingdom“This is such a wonderful coffee shop and cafe. The guys that run this place are absolutely amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble. All foods can be tailored to your needs, you only need to ask and they will go above and beyond to make your visit a pleasant one, whether it's just for a quick coffee or a hearty meal. It's fun, it's quirky and it's vibrant. It's animal friendly and there's also a lovely little outdoor area to dine. An absolutely wonderful little community gem.”

Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester
● Open“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

Indian Tiffin Room
● Closed“A beautiful Little hidden gem in Cheadle village. We ate here for the very first time and I can honestly say this has been the nicest Indian street food we have had in a very long time! Tasted so fresh and full of flavour it didn’t disappoint! We will certainly be coming again! Also the service was lovely and warm and we were very well taken care of. We would highly recommend this restaurant :) From Rabia & Guillaume”

YARA Restaurant
● Open478 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 9AS, United Kingdom“We came on a Sunday afternoon for a light lunch. There was not a single other person here.. However, having said that it's a nicely presented place with white napkins and tablecloths, the service was great and the food was to die for. They also serve alcohol unlike some middle eastern restaurants and the house wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. Overall I would highly recommend!!”

My partner had the Salmon which I tried too, very good. Hats off to the chef! Thanks to the waitress Gabi who made some good recommendations, as I was a bit stuck for choice!”

Lowerhouse Inn Pub & Function Room
● Closed“I have been to many functions at this venue and always had a great night. Always made to feel welcome even when I have been there on my own. The staff are very friendly and also very accomodating when I have held events there. One such event was on the 14th August where it was a great night and the staff even helped decorate the room as well as cleared everything into a tidy area for us to collect the next day. I noticed a 1* review from a guest at the previous event.. The lady claims to have been Merry but not drunk yet was abusive and confontational to other guest including myself. Later at her hotel it took 8 police officers to escort her from her room after she constantly tried to attack on of her own party. If thats not drunk I'd hate to see how you behave when you are? The fact this lady 2 weeks later is still trying to cause trouble, speaks more about her than the venue she is trying to bad mouth.”

Hotel Motel One Manchester-Royal Exchange
● Open“Very reasonable price and fantastic location. Room was spotless and good amenities. Iron and ironing board provided on request. Free wifi and tv in each room. Also spotless. If I had to fault, the maid walked in in the morning at 8am, she did knock and walk in but I didn’t think I would need to put the “don’t clean” sign on the door as we were only staying one night. But overall a pleasant experience and would definitely stay again!”
-
Premier Inn Manchester City Centre West hotel
● Open“As always, the same high standard as I have come to expect from Premier Inn. The room was immaculate and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was a good base, just a short walk from Spinningfields and the cocktails we had enjoyed earlier in the night. The hotel also had an option to store luggage once we checked out. They asked for a donation for this, which we gladly paid as all the money went to their chosen charity!”

Holiday Inn Manchester Airport, an IHG Hotel
● Open“I needed a place to stay for one night, close to the airport, and this Holiday Inn proved to be a great choice. Not only it's close to the airport/train station (so you don't really need a taxi if you are travelling light) but it's also new, beautifully designed, clean and with lots of different tasty choices for breakfast. I've also had dinner at the restaurant and the only thing I would say is that maybe the price was a bit high compared to the portion of the food. Something that I really liked - the eco part - is that the key cards are wooden instead of plastic and the toiletries (shampoo etc.) were in refillable containers.”
-
INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester
● Open“Stayed here recently and it was a treat, from entering the staff were super helpful. The room was incredibly spacious and the shower area is not separated by a wall, so imagine you'd have to be close to the person you're staying with! For me, this wasn't an issue but maybe for some. The gym was great, small but decent kit and the sauna and steam room a total treat too! The breakfast has loads of choice and again, staff very friendly. I would LOVE to go back soon. There is a mini art gallery on the first floor too and it is in a great location, close to Deansgate Station, Oxford Road and so much more.”
-
Hotel Brooklyn Manchester
● Open“After staying here with my husband in the summer we returned last weekend to celebrate our anniversary. This hotel is really great, central location so easy walking distance to bars/restaurants/shops and just round the corner from Chinatown and the Gay Village. Both times the rooms have been lovely, we went for a bigger room the second time we visted as the standard rooms are a bit small (but very comfortable). The staff are always really friendly and helpful and the hotel even set the room up with a special complimentary anniversary treat for us. Breakfast and the bar are both nice too. Price is reasonable for a nice, central hotel and having stayed at a lot of different hotels in Manchester I'd recommend it as a fun place to stay. We will definitely be choosing to stay here again next time we're in the city!”

-
Summat to Ate Steak Restaurant & Function Rooms
● Closed“Absolutely amazing meal tonight. Two T-bones, duck and a mix of starters for four and everything was spot on. After a really disappointing outing at the pretentious Ewe recently we went back to an old haunt for one of the kids birthdays and weren’t disappointed. Great service, great presentation and cooked perfectly. Nothing more to say other than this place and the Cherry tree are leading the way for me for a simple bloke from Howfen.”
-
Yara Restaurant
● Open“I’ve recently moved to Cheadle and I’m trying to navigate its many options for a goody night out. Many from the area recommend Yara. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype. The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.”
-

Pasha Restaurant | Est. 2015
● Closed“The food, decor, shisha and vibes this day were off the charts!! I went here for dinner and we ordered the lamb kebab; one with rice, the other with chips. The mocktail were really good too, I enjoyed the strawberry daiquiri. Perfect spot for catching up with friends, midweek shenanigans, date night etc!!”

Dimitri's - Tapas Meze Bar & Restaurant
● Closed“Great find in central Manchester - good deal in Deansgate. An excellent place in the city centre, with a warm welcome, efficient service, and great atmosphere. And absolutely delicious food to boot. The restaurant has the feel of a city centre pub on entering, but behind and beyond the first room is a series of smaller areas with a distinctly greek taverna feel. Access is all on one level, and whilst the general toilets are down stairs, there is a ground level accessible toilet for those with limited mobility. The staff were delightful and the food came very quickly after ordering. There’s a good range of both meat food and meat free food. And a good range of beers and wines. The price is very reasonable. Certainly a place to go again next time I’m in town.”
-
