“Really nice food and good service too. Really good staff and a nice choice of food on the menu. Staff helpfull and about when you need then, happy to make alterations to drinks and meals too. The food we had was really nice! I would definitely go back next time I'm in the area. Prices good too.”

“We were in the area and booked last minute for Sunday lunch. We were recieved with a warm welcome, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The Sunday menu has a fabulous options from a variety cuisines. The food was excellent, a 10/10 per course. I will definitely return. Thank you.”

“Had a meeting and lunch here. The meeting room was very spacious, the tech all worked and there are plenty of plugs. Tea and coffee provided, along with some biscuits. Staff very helpful throughout. The lunch was nice too, not too pricey for quality food, had the seabass, calories printed on the menus which is very helpful. Pint of MPA on cask was in perfect condition!”

“We just had a 3 day , 2 night family gathering here for 12 people and 4 dogs. We received exceptional treatment, nothing was too much trouble. We all had afternoon teas which were absolutely amazing, and we had lovely evening meals too. The rooms were all lovely and clean, and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. The staff (in particular Sean & Loraine.) Have wonderful customer service skills, and make you feel very special. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, its A true hidden gem.”

“We had the most amazing bacon & egg butties this week. The service was excellent, the staff welcoming and the pub itself is clean and cosy. We took our dog with us and she was made very welcome and enjoyed the biscuits they gave her! Would highly recommend and will be visiting to try the Sunday lunch now!”

“We booked a reservation for the Sunday lunch and needless to say the food was amazing, tasty and seasonal veg crunchy. Stayed overnight in one of the corner rooms, which was nice and clean. Staff couldn't do enough for us and were very friendly, cocktails were excellent. Thank you.”

“I had a work conference at this place. Beautiful building and very open grounds. Room was nice and modern but I heard they have some older looking ones too. Staff were helpful, friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. A bit pricey but I'd probably go again.”

“We’ve had a lovely lunch out. The service by Mike (Front of House) was perfect; calamari was best my husband had ever had; all the food was delicious. Mike had also ensured our request for a chair with arms was accommodated. Honestly cannot think of an improvement that could be made. So 5/5. Thank you”

“It was a last minute booking for my mother who has several disabilities and they have been truly amazing to her, I have to especially thank Fred for being so hospitable - the staff really do go above and beyond to respectfully ensure that you have a relaxing stay, I would definitely recommend this place. I’m very impressed!”
