“A lot of people complaining about these & I have got to say, it’s totally uncalled for. They’re very professional for the little set up they’ve got. Calling the staff rude, etc isn’t needed. I get a hint of what people mean but I think they’re efficient & not there to be our friends. They are there to run a business. If you don’t like someone or their attitude you are within your rights not to return. I found them all perfectly lovely, swift & helpful. People have ways of doing things & everyone has different personality types, if someone is not for you, it doesn’t detract from what service your receiving. I got what I needed, swiftly, politely & in a lovely setting. Don’t let negative reviews put you off! They’ve got a ‘Good’ CQC banding which is probably the most important thing to consider when looking at medical settings. Overall I am very happy & had a lovely professional experience. Thank you & I will be recommending them & will definitely be back.”

“From travel vaccinations to routine appointments I’ve visited the practice on several occasions over the last few months and can only say the experience has been excellent. Antonella and Jane are warm, friendly and very efficient, can usually get an appointment within 10 days for non-urgent or same day if urgent. Maybe things were better in a mythical past but hard pressed to find a GP surgery offering much better at present when stretched. Have had very good telephone appointments that were on time for things that don’t need to be seen in person and effective, on time in-person appointments. I’d read the reviews before moving into the area and St. John’s was one of the few places accepting patients, naturally was a bit concerned. The reality is on recent experience, this is a very good GP practice where you CAN get an appointment. Unrealistic expectations of a stretched service do not provide a representative view of the practice.”
