“We had Sunday roast here. The quality was great and reasonably priced. The staff were nice too. Will come back and try other dishes next time.”

“Really friendly staff. Good food (chicken burgers for two of the family and liver and mash for me) and excellent kids menu (proper chicken in the nuggets). Would recommend if you are in the area. Just be careful if you're tall as it's a traditional low ceiling pub.”

“Just needed more festive tableware lol. Seriously though The wait staff were brilliant and polite with our table of 8. The food was delicious and hot, so much on the plates as well ! none of us could complete it all and only a few managed a dessert, lots of lovely choices on the menu and all was available. Free parking up to 3hrs or register your reg number as a guest.”

“For food was lovely and the service was very good, the young lady that served up was really polite and friendly and nothing was a problem for her . The prices are very reasonable too. Would definitely recommend a visit!”

“A brilliantly friendly pub, with very welcoming staff. We had the best time on Christmas Eve with a large group of adults and children in their beautiful garden. Food was delicious, staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere was amazing. Can't wait to come back for more of the same, thank you all.”

“I come to this fish bar so often because the food is always so good! The fish and chips are just amazing the batter is so crispy and the chips are lovely, moreish and plentiful, recently tried the quarter pounder burger and it definitely won’t be the last it’s delicious and perfectly cooked. On top of that, the staff are SO friendly! Would 100% recommend”

“We first came here for lunch with my partner then the second time for a family meal. Nice pub and friendly staff's. All my life I lived in Enfield I had never been here even though I go past it everyday. Will be back for drinks soon.”

“This is a lovely old pub with a decent sized beer garden, and covered booths too. The real draw is the food though - we had an incredible Sunday roast (recommend the beef) with all the trimmings & finished with a couple of excellent desserts. I particularly liked the Guinness brownie & ice cream - absolutely lush! The service here is excellent too, really friendly & efficient. We had such a lovely time, we'll be coming back again very soon.”

“We had a party catered by Ada and we were so pleased we chose them. The service was courteous and so helpful. Every member of staff from the manager, to the waiters, the driver, the chef and the whole team in the kitchen did their utmost to help make our event a success. We loved the brunch too and the smaller party we had at the restaurant. Thank you so much all of the team at Ada.”

“A very good roast indeed. Good gravy and lots of it!! Cauliflower cheese was proper cheesy, yorkies were good, meat very nice and pigs in the blankets - a nice touch. Good selection of tastyales and cider. Lovely staff. Dog friendly. Will be back! I can also confirm rib Tuesday is very good! Burger Thursday is very good too!”

“Been to this pub a few times on a Friday evening while the little one is at Guides. All the staff I've spoken to have been really nice and down to earth. There is normally a good amount of people here but there is plenty of tables and an outdoor smoking area. Good selection of beers, wines and spirits at typical prices for the area. There is often something happening on the weekend evenings, be it a band, quiz etc. The only thing that I'd like to see is the pub pulled into 2023. It is slightly warn and in need of a refurb.”

“Stayed here whilst working in London for a few weeks. Staff looked after me very well with a lovely breakfast in the morning and dinner in the bar every evening. Clean, no-frills room.”

“Great food, excellent and friendly staff, exemplary service and a lovely environment. My only "complaint" - I couldn't finish my food as the servings were very large. We were there for a late lunch on a Monday and it was busy. We did not have a reservation but we were seated and served politely and promptly. We will definitely be returning. I would recommend booking.”
