The Ritz Restaurant

La Cafeteria
● Closed“A small Italian based Restaurant that provides good food at reasonable prices. It started small but they have expanded over the years. The restaurant provides two menus, specials of the day and a set menu. You cannot go wrong with either one. They can cater for small and medium groups if you make reservations. An outdoor area is available when the weather is nice. This restaurant is good value for money and will not break the bank. A light dinner for two cost me under £40 pounds. Staff are friendly and accomodating.”

Dishoom King's Cross
● Closed“Most fabulous experience ever!! My mom has limited mobility & they were extremely kind & accommodating for her. Even without that, we’d give it 5 stars! The food was incredible- such deep, rich flavors complemented with the brightness of citrus & herbs. Everything was delicious but the gunpowder potatoes & okra fries are not to be missed!!”

The Grenadier
● Closed“Out of the way gem of a bar that's tucked away in a seemingly residential corner of London. Incredibly friendly staff! Great selection of beer and cider. Great bar eats! Highly recommend trying the Scotch eggs! Be sure to look up while you're there. The ceiling is also covered in dollar bills with little messages written on them.”

Bricklayers Arms
● Closed“Wonderful service, prompt with a smile, and really nice options on the menu. We ended up here somewhat by accident after the Grufalo trial and booked a table purely based on reviews. Although it was about 15 minutes away I'd say it was worth the drive. We had the double stacked friend chicken burger, pear and walnut salad, ribs for starter and the meringue which was a perfect summer dessert. Good vegetarian options as well. They cater well for outside bookings and are also well setup post Covid. Lovely pub, lovely people in a lovely area.”

Hawksmoor Knightsbridge
● Closed“At least this restaurant justifies all the hype. The steaks are good and the rest are all quite standard. We ordered the tomahawk steak. The grill garlic scallops are very tasty. Service is pretty standard. No one pull our wine on the table throughout dinner. Everything is good enough but nothing special and no wow factor. Good enough to earn a 5 star. Food 8/10, service 7/10, ambience 7/10, value for money 7/10.”

Hawksmoor Guildhall
● Closed“Reunion diner with ex colleagues, what a treat. Plush surroundings and attentive staff. One of our party chose this restaurant as he loved the lobster, unfortunately on this visit it was off the menu; there goes "my initial" choice of surf & turf. I chose scallops to start and sea-bream to follow. The scallops were succulent and sweet and the bream was so expertly filleted that at first I thought it was the complete fish. The bill was a little eye-watering but this was a special occasion and we had a great time so it was worth it.”

The Quality Chop House

Lytton Restaurant
● Closed“My wife and I recently found this restaurant on Bookable. We lived locally and wasn’t aware it even existed; we were not disappointed. We were greeted at the bar by smiley Waitress and offered a cocktail of the cocktail menu. They have just launched the Spring menu which looked really appetizing. I went for the salmon and the Lamb and my husband Risotto balls and the Hake, the food was well seasoned and very tasty. Just before we had finished the Chef came out and chatted to the tables which was nice, Barry or Baz as he asked to be called even told us he previously worked on the set of James Bond! After dinner we relaxed in the Bar, it was quiet but so cozy. We will return for our next date night.”
-
The Petersham Restaurant
● Closed“I had expected the Petersham to be a bit staid, but our Christmas lunch surprised on the upside! Even playful in parts, the meal was always very good quality. Clearly, they have a talented kitchen team. Service was well paced and friendly, and the 'White Christmas' joke was fun!”
