“Best Italian I've been to in the UK. Food was really exceptional tasty hot and plentiful, we really couldn't fault it. Happy to be served by a happy helpful Anna was so refreshing, she was very efficient. I thoroughly recommend this place for food, staff, atmosphere and a nicely decorated and very clean place. I bet its lovely in the garden on a sunny day too. We wished we lived nearer. Glad we booked as it soon filled up within 15 minutes of us arriving.”

“Came recently with a friend, there was a special 3 course for 30£. We booked at 830pm and it was great. The restaurant wasn’t busy, the staff was friendly, helpful, and most important the food was fantastic. I loved the lamb for my mains. Highly recommend specially with the OpenTable deal.”

“Had a gorgeous dinner with my family tonight. Authentic georgian cuisine. Badrijani, khinkali and khachapuri are highly recommended. Wine is a bit expensive, but the food price is very good compared to other georgian restaurants we visited in London.”

“A great location situated right on the river with an upstairs terrace decorated nicely. The food looked like it had come from a Michelin star chef and tasted like it too! “A really old London boozer by the Thames, friendly and efficient staff, it's got a small balcony on the ground floor and smaller balcony on the 1st floor with nice views of the Thames. A nice range of Real Ales which are well kept, I haven't tried the food yet but looks good and a nice menu, if You like old pubs it a must.”

I absolutely detest the endless array of revolting IPA's and craft lagers that have taken over so many pubs in the last few years. None of that rubbish here - I tried the dark Mild and black stout and both were excellent. I can also recommend the steak and ale pie which was full of tender meat in a rich gravy.”

“This is a prized local so this might come across as biased, but it’s a great pub. The atmosphere is friendly, like a community and the food and drinks are decent! The staff are always, always, always lovely and accommodating. There was also a huge group for a party and they consisted of dogs, prams and children. So appreciate the staff’s flexibility and patience! Shout out to Douglas and Alex, who when we came in earlier, were juggling a lot of customers! Thank you”

“The best (and certainly the biggest!) Sunday roast I've ever had. Beautifully cooked, nicely presented and a great selection of vegetables to go with the lamb. The Yorkshire pud was ginormous - tasty. None of us could manage the generous helping of roast potatoes. The waiters helped us to our seats to make it easy for our elderly father. The biggest bravo goes to the Chef/s- we saw three of them churning out the meals from our seats. Overall, top marks.”

“I've known this pub since '97. Back then it was...odd. Acton was....scary. While Acton come gentrified, this pub became a hub. Has been run for many years by lovely Italian people. Pizzas are amazing. Venue amazing. Great beer garden, come summer or winter. I used to come here with my sons to grab a beer and relax, after nursery.”

I returned this weekend and was very pleased to see that the place is still as welcoming and friendly as ever, with fab staff, delicious food and plenty of drinks options.
