“The Wells Tavern is one of Hampstead's best gastro pubs offering all that is needed to be a neighbourhood favourite including a great location, outside seating with heaters and large canopies, good service, tasty food and two floors offering formal and informal dinning. The prices are on the high end when compared to other areas of town, but it is part of the "Hampstead premium". The ground floor is a traditional bar with tables, sofas and all around dog friendliness. The food menu includes plates of chorizo with red pepper and gherkins, cod fishcakes, burgers and grilled tuna steak. Tables outside are at a premium when the sun shines. The upstairs is made up of three small dining rooms, with a more formal menu and setting. The scallops (£14.50) part of the starter menu where fresh and full of flavour, while the ribeye steak (£29.50) was tasty. The portion of chips could be larger but they were perfectly cooked. The duck leg (£19.85) was cooked perfectly.A great spot for drinks, a quick bite to eat or a more formal meal if you do not mind the premium prices.”

“The Rex is one of the best cinema experiences I have ever had. We keep going back as the atmosphere is superb and the film choices are really interesting. The bar is available even through the film and you can buy cheese and snacks which adds to a lovely visit.”

“A friendly, off-the beaten track local pub, serving great ales direct from the cask. Very traditional interior, and the locals are engaged in funny conversations and banter. This was a great pit stop on our long walk. I think this was how all pubs used to be - a genuine meeting place rather than somewhere to extract money out of you - I hope it never changes!”

“I made an inquiry for this holiday via the chat facility and communicated with Ali to me. I was searching for a hotel with a heated pool as i'm going in April and want to make sure we can make full use of the pool. Ali told me about the Eden Andalou Aquapark & Spa which matched my criteria. When I wanted to move from the chat facility to the phone Ali called me quickly and was very helpful and answered all of my questions. When i agreed to book the holiday Ali talked me through the booking process and called me at each stage to give me an update. In summary Ali Hamza was very professional in his approach and I would recommend using Ali to discuss your holiday needs. The holiday is booked for Nov 2019 so hopefully it will be as enjoyable.”

“My wife rang on Tuesday evening to find if they had any vegan options available for lunch the following day. She was told they didn't but the chef would sort something out for us. So we booked for 3 adults and one infant. We duly arrived Wednesday lunchtime and were presented with a hand written menu giving us the choice of 4 vegan starters and about 6 vegan lunches. Boy. Were we spoiled!!!! My wife and daughter ordered the Sage and onion vegetable cobbler. I had roasted butternut squash with walnuts, cranberries and pine nuts served with sauteed potatoes, onions and peppers. Our grandson had a starter of garlic chestnut mushrooms served on garlic ciabatta. The portions were more than big enough. The value was fantastic, less than £60.00 for 4 including drinks. Bearing in mind that we could have easily been told there were no options for us, the lengths they went to were incredible. We can only highly recommend this establishment. If you do want to visit and try their vegan options, just give them a day or so notice!”

“A small Italian based Restaurant that provides good food at reasonable prices. It started small but they have expanded over the years. The restaurant provides two menus, specials of the day and a set menu. You cannot go wrong with either one. They can cater for small and medium groups if you make reservations. An outdoor area is available when the weather is nice. This restaurant is good value for money and will not break the bank. A light dinner for two cost me under £40 pounds. Staff are friendly and accomodating.”

“Had a business meeting here and I would highly recommend it. The food is outstanding! I had the scallops for starter and the duck for main it everything was exquisite. Perfectly pink duck, succulent scallops and the presentation is stunning too! The service is also excellent, they give you plenty of time to discuss business and the wine list is pretty decent too.”

“The Crown & Scepter is one of those rare backstreet neighbourhood pubs that survived the storm of closing pubs across the country through sheer quality. The reasons it survived are its amazing quality authentic thai cuisine, its great range of beers and its large and comfortable in and outdoor spaces. Its also typically not completely packed out allowing for drop in visits in a time of having to book ahead, even on a Friday night. I would recommend anyone in the area to take the extra steps to visit.”

Smiley faces and big welcomes as soon as you step through the door and the quality continues right through each course until you decide to leave after a couple of pints and warning up by the fire. The first time I went there I gad the roast lamb with vegetables, unfortunately when I got there yesterday the only option available was the roast beef, as the Lamb abd Chicken had all gone & boy oh boy! was I glad. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection by Ben (The Owner) I would suggest phoning at 12.00pm (when they open) or a day or two in advance if possible, to book a table , and get there early.. Ben and his staff are extremely pleasant, & can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your experience of eating at his Pub/Restaurant. I would definitely go again.
