"Due to the sparkling reviews this place has , I had high hopes ,while the service at Fredrick's in Angel is impressive, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the overall dining experience. The interior design of the restaurant is quite uninspired, and it seems to be stuck in the early 2000s, with everything being dominated by shades of beige and grey. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the average age of the clientele is around 50 years old, but regardless, it does not make for an exciting atmosphere. Furthermore, the food is also underwhelming and lacks creativity, which is a shame considering the prices. While some may be willing to forgive the lack of ambiance, it's difficult to overlook the mediocrity of the cuisine, especially given the cost. Overall, despite the excellent service, I would recommend saving your money and trying out other dining options in the area, as Fredrick's in Angel does not quite live up to expectations."

"Had a business meeting here and I would highly recommend it. The food is outstanding! I had the scallops for starter and the duck for main it everything was exquisite. Perfectly pink duck, succulent scallops and the presentation is stunning too! The service is also excellent, they give you plenty of time to discuss business and the wine list is pretty decent too."

"A wonderful restaurant with amazing food, a great atmosphere and attentive friendly staff. Our party of five dined here on a Saturday afternoon for my husband’s birthday meal and the food was just delicious. Highlights were the scallops, tempura prawns, duck and beef fillet. Our bill was likely higher due to us all having alcohol including quite a pricy bottle of wine but it was worth it. Our only comment was that knowing it was a special birthday they could have done more but overall it was an exceptional meal and we will be back."

"Excellent restaurant. Great premises, beautiful art, nice tables and chairs and the overall atmosphere is magical. I had a great night with my fiancé. The service was flawless and also very helpful. Amazing selection of wines and very funny and prepared sommelier. The waiters were friendly and skilled. The only thing we would not give 5 is the food. We found the quality of what we ordered quite average. We definitely come back to try the meat, probably the best item on the menu. But being the menu limited, every plate should excellent. Definitely recommended for a date and also for families."
