"There have been several issues that lead me to say that this has been the worst hotel stay that I have experienced. There is no onsite parking. The hallways consistently smell like weed. The towels in the room are minimal, poor quality, and scratchy as if they were air dried. There was a used bandaid attached to one of the folded towels in the bathroom. The toilet tissue quality was worse than in a public school and there was only a small amount remaining on the roll when we came into the room and no extra roll to be found so had to request more. There is little to no space in the mini fridge due to their ‘upsell’ items and when we went to open the door to the fridge the shelf fell out to reveal it was completely broken and had been taped together. There has been a group of guests slamming doors and screaming in the halls all night (currently from 12-4:30) and after multiple calls to the front desk, nothing has worked to improve the situation. The only upside to the hotel for our family has been the location. I will not stay here again or recommend this hotel to a small family."
"Charming place and great location but much to be desired in the rooms. Terrible pillows, no fitted sheets, so they just end up in a ball in the morning, water pressure in the shower is awful. It was our 2nd time here, won't make that mistake again."
"I would come back here. The hotel is old, and I appreciated it's charm and character. There was a small housekeeping error due to our last minute reservation, but Adrian at the front desk took care of it immediately. There were lots of interesting restaurants a few minutes' walk away. My only complaint is that there is no on-site parking and the nearby lots and garages are expensive. But, the hotel staff was helpful in recommending one very close."
"Excellent location if one prefers to be closer to lake, and in one of the best neighborhoods. This area is beautiful, safe, walkable to dining but near lake front is the best amenity. Lobby is well designed and room was very spacious. Very nice hotel staff"
