"The reason I'm taking time to write a review before checking out is the room cleanliness. I suffer from allergies. No matter how luxurious the hotel brand, my allergies always act up. As I'm packing to head out, I just noticed my allergies have been fine all weekend. I'm usually popping allergy meds and cleansing my sinuses at this point. Something about hotel air ducts and overall lack of thorough cleanliness that does it for me. Virgin hit it out of the park. This is by far the most hypoallergenic room I've stayed in. Another plus, I was kindly allowed to check in very early and ALSO check out late. I have no special perks. I didn't book directly with Virgin, and this is my first time staying at a Virgin property. Oh, and I was greeted at the door by this good boy in the picture each time I made it to my room. Hotels sometimes forget they're in the hospitality business. Thank you for your hospitality. Virgin, you just made a repeat customer."

"Such a great hotel and location! The staff were so friendly, their rooftop bar is such a gem, and the location makes it easy to walk or metro to most spots. My only complaint was the mattress was not the most comfortable (a bit too squishy for my liking) but no other bad things to say!"

"Good hotel to stay at that's in a great location. Easy to talk to lots of things nearby. Didn't have any issues with things that were commented on in other reviews ( train never woke us up, there wasn't an overbearing party environment at the hotel). We were able to check in and check out from our phones so it was an easy in and out process."

"Overall value, it would be hard to beat. It’s essentially 1.5 blocks away from Trump & the river. Chad that works there was great, our room was ready early. Check-in was simple and fast, the restaurant in lobby was great, coffee shop was convenient & rooftop was nice to have. Room service was consistent and never had to remind them. Room and hotel was very clean and nice decor. For what it cost to stay here, when we went, you can’t beat it. Staff was extremely professional and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and consider staying here again."

"We loved our stay at this hotel. Check-in was smooth, and we greatly appreciated the courtesy of early access to our suite after an early morning flight. The views from our suite were lovely, and the delicious room service breakfasts exceeded our expectations. The location was great for exploring the River Walk, hopping on an architectural boat tour, and strolling to Navy Pier. Last bot not least, every staff person we interacted with was kind and helpful. Highly recommend!"
