The Robey

"AWESOME!! boutique-style hotel with easy access to The Loop from the Blue Line, within walking distance of independent coffee shops and local small businesses, truly an unexpected oasis in Wicker Park! We used SpotHero for parking, highly recommend for a cheaper option than valet. Whoever designed this hotel deserves a raise, because the contemporary industrial touches create such an exciting atmosphere. If you are going to a show at Subterranean, this hotel is the absolute best choice. It is located on a busy intersection with some nightlife attractions and the Blue Line running directly behind the building, but noise disturbances on a Friday night were minimal for us. Our front desk staff interactions were fantastic both times, the room exceeded our expectations, and I am already excited to return to checkout the rooftop and the bar during a future trip! LOVED this place!!"

"This was my second time staying at The Robey and I can't really imagine staying anywhere else in Chicago. The Wicker Park location is great -- very central and a short walk from the Blue Line, and you get to feel like you are in a neighborhood rather than a downtown tourist bubble. The Robey cafe is quite good, and the rooftop bar is fun and offers a fantastic view of the city. The staff is really, really nice and the architecture of the building itself is just fantastic. Beds are comfy. My only suggestion would be to put more hooks / places to store things in the loft rooms in the annex. But that's a minor complaint. Overall, a gem of a hotel."

"My son used this venue for his wedding. The hotel gave them great accommodations and the rooftop has a nice view of the city. I was very pleased with the service and the staff who helped make the event go smooth. It was a one stop venue for the ceremony and the reception. I highly recommend it. They have self/street parking, and I understand they also offer valet parking."

"Parking was convenient, staff was great and accommodating. Food was finger American food ( burgers etc),but good:). Mixed drinks we’re good also, but wasn’t strong enough for me lol .The pool needs to be bigger but was perfect when I visited because it wasn’t crowded. Your food and drinks are served to you at the pool:). Plenty of seating, with umbrellas for sun. Can be romantic in the summer on a night out. This place is alone kid friendly."

"The robey is definitely one of our favorite hotels in Chicago. The room was very quiet and clean. We took our friends to the roof top bar which has an amazing view. Overall it’s a wonderful stay. I will definitely stay there again in my next business trip."
