“Classic fish and chips. Every time we go it’s always bustling, I’d recommend booking. Food is served fast, hot and the servers are super friendly. The fish and chips are crispy, not greasy at all and full of flavour. Affordable too with a meal, tea and bread and butter for about £10.”

“Hull's best tapas! Came here for a late booking and was impressed from start to finish by both the staff and the quality of food. The staff are very welcoming, the menu is exciting and each item comes out fresh as its ready which adds to the enjoyable experience. The basque cheesecake was beyond delicious and I can't wait to return to try it again.”

“We were a group of 7 and Mutahir, our server was very welcoming, always kept a smile on his face, and gave us excellent recommendations. The starters were delicious as were the mains, specifically the garlic chicken. 10/10 for the food and 10/10 for service. Its a little gem and I would highly recommend it.”

“The restaurant was quite empty, and the owner said it is midweek, which is a shame. This was our first meal here and it was beautiful, we both thought it was one of the best we'd eaten for a while. It's also very reasonably priced. Was operating from an old menu, but the owner did say he was bringing out a new one, so we will definitely be back to try it. Friendly owner, great food at a reasonable price.”

“Very nice place, food has excellent, we ordered a Gordon blue and pizza. Maybe one of the best pizza I was ever eat and the Gordon blue been delicious and nice chips. Another thinks I was really like it was the Draft Beer served in frozen glass. 10+ place.”

“My colleague and I went to Al Porto Italian restaurant on Thursday and were blown away by our food! The restaurant has a really nice, chilled out vibe, but still holds a level of class. I had the duck liver to start followed by the best risotto I've ever tasted. My colleague had the garlic prawns to start and the spaghetti carbonara for his main. All of the food was lovely”

“We had a beautiful meal at the Millhouse on Wednesday, the food was beautifully presented which was Salmon Omelette with a salad and chips. It wasn’t only the presentation of the food that was lovely, the staff were brilliant too. My friend and I had two assistant dogs, one in training. Normally , when we go out for a meal together we are placed near a cold door or somewhere inconvenient to us as a customer. However, this wasn’t the case at the Millhouse. We were shown to a table by the window and the staff could not have been more helpful. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back.”

“We mainly have takeaways from here and they are always gold but tonight we visited the restaurant for the first in a long time and the food was equally as good if not better. Loads more choice than the takeaway menu and all reasonably priced. Excellent quality and really fast and friendly service. For a town the size of Brough I'm surprised there's not more Indian restaurants/takeaways but to be for when it's as good as this then they would have to uo their game!”

“Pizza Mamma catered for our wedding reception this weekend and wow, we couldn’t have asked for more. Despite some travel challenges, Sue and her amazing team delivered delicious pizza and such friendly service. Our guests were raving about it, as were the band! Sue was even thoughtful enough to make sure that I had the first slice, and to make myself and my husband a pizza each to take back to our room at the end of the night to make sure that we had eaten enough (the asparagus creation I had was beautiful). I honestly would recommend Pizza Mamma in a heartbeat.”

“Had a lovely meal here with my family. Lovely food at reasonable prices. Staff sat us down observing distancing and restrictions on at present. Food quickly arrived and was lovely and hot. Non spicy for me as i have sensitive pallet and like bland stuff but family love all the hot stuff. Food was tasty and moist. Bottomless drinks and bottomless ice cream are a must... yummy. X Toilets clean and well kept and checked regularly . Loads of parking on a timed basis so dont spend hours gabbing or a meal here then cinema or you may get caught out . X”
