"Only good thing was location for us to be honest. We were booked here prior to a cruise. Needs a renovation or tidying up and fixing things in the rooms .very loud music throughout the day and early hours of morning. Looked down on if you wasn’t dressed up."

"My husband and I recently visited the Mondrian hotel, hoping for a relaxing getaway. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the service was lacking. Despite the pool area being relatively quiet, it took a staggering 40 minutes for someone to even take our order. To make matters worse, the pool itself was uncomfortably cold, hardly the ideal setting for relaxation. We decided to give the spa a try, but it was another disappointment. The waiting area was unkempt, with dirty couches adding to the overall sense of neglect. Both the sauna and steam room took ages to heat up, wasting valuable time that could have been spent enjoying the facilities. The massage I received was equally lackluster, with no attention to technique or customer comfort. The therapist never bothered to ask about pressure preferences or if I was comfortable, resulting in a thoroughly unsatisfying experience. To top it all off, the spa staff were rude and unhelpful, adding insult to injury. The only redeeming aspect of our visit was the pleasant music playing by the pool, but even that couldn't salvage the overall disappointment. I cannot recommend the Mondrian hotel based on our experience. The lack of attention to detail, poor customer service, and subpar amenities make it a destination to avoid. I sincerely hope that management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable stay for future guests."

"I stayed in this hotel for a week before Covid; except great view , nothing else is great about it. I saw a charge 100$ for a print out of the bill for extras on my credit card without my permission after I was back from holiday; I wrote emails about it that receptionist just asked if I wanted a print out to review the extras bill during check out and I wasn’t informed even of such ridiculous charge; no response to email. It is a rip off. Also, I felt very unsafe in the hotel as a solo traveller due to the kind of crowd the hotel had during my stay. I will not recommend this hotel to any single ladies travelling solo. Also, I couldn’t sleep well during my entire one week stay as it was extremely noisy till 4 am so it is not suitable for people who like their 8 hours night sleep."

"The best thing about this hotel is the location from the airport and the short travel times to popular attractions. This hotel is by far one of the filthiest places I have ever stayed. Not even considering the price of the stay. The overall experience was very poor. The cleanliness alone would be the reason I would NEVER recommend anyone to stay there. Let alone pay to stay there. The drapes in the rooms were supposed to be white but we covered in stains which appear to have been there awhile. The bathroom? We used a towel as a barrier so that our feet did not make contact with the shower floor. The walls and sidings of the rooms were all soiled. The security guard of the pool area was extremely prejudice and rude to say the least. I spoke to the manager about all of my concerns as well at my check out time. If you are considering to book here good luck :)"

"Booked this stay for my birthday weekend of 10/19-10/23. Checking in wasn’t bad, but overall experience was terrible. Starting off with the cleanliness of the rooms, it was definitely awful, the tile in the bathroom was very old, sink full of hair first day arriving. Hotel definitely was outdated. I didn’t access none of the amenities that I thought I’ll be getting, prior to booking. The staff was very unapproachable, very mean and racist, specifically Pool officer duty. This hotel is NOT a 4 star. Let alone a 1 star. Book at your own risk though."
