"The rooftop pool and the views from the rooftop overlooking the ocean were my favorite part!!! There’s a larger pool on one of the lower floors that is bigger if you’re looking to do some serious swimming. I liked the privacy and quiet atmosphere of the pool up top though. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, and the front desk people were helpful!"

"If you have a car you expect to use during your trip, I highly recommend NOT staying here. Every time we requested our car from valet it took an hour when it said 20-25 minutes. For 48 dollars a night for valet, I expect much better service. We had to go up and ask them for the car multiple times like they kept forgetting to get it. If it was ten dollars a night, fine but 48 dollars?!?!? Absolutely terrible!"

"I dont think I've ever been more disappointed in a Hilton hotel than I was here. I'm a diamond member going on year 2 now and I've never had a room this small, and also so dirty. The floors are old and the wood is stained with a grey film on top. On top of the cosmetic and face issues, the TV in the room doesn't have any cable and they swapped the remote so I can't even change input to watch something on my own device. The front desk told me there's nothing he can do, that maintenance is gone and they're the only ones that can help. I've never paid so much to just instantly regret it the 1st night. 500 dollars? 85,000 points you were charging? Clearly just for location."

"My partner and I stayed at this hotel for my 30th and our stay was great! I want to highlight a few things that made our stay above and beyond. First of all, the location is walkable to many great spots in South Beach! It is literally right in front of the beach. The hotel not only provides beach towels and chairs plus they also give you a complementary bike for your stay. The rooftop pool had great views and was a fun little spot to hangout. They also allowed us to check in early the day we got there which was a very nice gesture. Lastly but not least, what really made our stay was the staff such as the restaurant staff, the bell boy and housekeeping. We always arrived to a clean room after a long day exploring Miami. I want to highlight a staff member, Marcellus who was a tremendous help throughout my stay. He was always attentive to our needs and made sure we were always helped. I would definitely stay here again just for the excellent service from those I've mentioned."

"Good: Location on South Beach is great with the beach right across the street, close to restaurants and not a far drive to downtown. The hotel complex itself combines vintage art deco and contemporary across four buildings with two pools (one rooftop with a glass bottom) and multiple dining options. OK: Due to the age of the hotel, the rooms are on the smaller side but were clean and updated. There is also only one elevator serving the main building, and it was not working for half a day. Bad: Don't think I have had worse service at a hotel. Room was not ready upon check-in and we were told to "wait and enjoy the pool" despite being fully dressed after coming from the airport. No apologies, welcome drink, etc. while we waited an hour until the room was ready. Had to ask multiple times per day just to have the room cleaned, and two of our four days it still was not serviced by housekeeping. Staff does not communicate well with each other. Had a late check-out and then my keys stopped working after 11:00 standard check-out time. No diamond member Hilton honors benefits, except for the daily F&B credit (which I had to ask to be applied to my bill after they failed to do so). Restaurant staff not very attentive. Due to the automatic 20% gratuity, we were left waiting around for our food and drinks while 5+ restaurant staff chatted with each other. Overall, would not recommend simply due to the extremely poor service."
