staySky Suites – I Drive Orlando

"Stayed here for 2 days with my sister and partner. When checking in the guy was very friendly with the people in front of me but did a 180 when I got to him. Right when you get into the room the smell of cigarettes just hits you in the face, it was also a none smoking room. When we went into the bathroom they left opened already used soap out with no extra soap to replace it. Told the guy about the smoke smell so he wouldn't blame us along with the soap, he didn't seem to care about the smell but brought us more soap. We used the "kitchen" area to make some food and one of the burners were out. If I'm being honest, out of the whole room, the refrigerator was the cleanest. When I went to check out I used the stairwell, while going down i found a cigarette that was just recently used. All the pictures you see on their website is completely outdated and does not look that nice. This place doesn't look nice and lively like the pictures, rather dark and unwelcoming. I don't understand how this place has 3.9 stars, but if I could I'd give it 0 stars."

"We were a group wanting 4 rooms, walked in to check with the front desk, stood there for 13 minutes while the rest of the group waiting outside , the front desk employee had one customer only who looks like been there for a while , all of my time standing looking him in the eye , the employee didn’t even bother to greet or say hi or acknowledge my existence as a customer who’s walking in, I swallowed it for 13 minutes and tried to get his attention many times but nothing! Not even a “I’ll be right with you “ clearly that gave me a clear message about the service we were gona receive and just walked out with the group to a hotel right next to it in which they were busy a little at the desk but greeted and acknowledge us as a customer . When you are in the hospitality business their are basics , and sky suites didn’t have it for sure. I urge you to invest in your employees and in the employees selection HR process."

"Horrible, dirty rundown. We booked and paid online, when we got to the hotel they charged us more. The room smelled terrible, carpets dirty and lots of stains, food stains on the walls, inside cabinets not great, the fridge handle dirty and the inside light bulb hanging from loose cable, the bed not comfortable and just felt dirty and whats worse we found roaches even on the table. Next day we complained and you would thing rhey would send housekeepers to clean and sanitize but not even that, they didnt even change the towels. They dont seem to care but only for your money. Its filthy nasty."

"Booking this condo was one of the worst mistakes that my wife and I have ever made!! If we would have looked at Google before we booked on Airbnb we would have not have booked!! This place was not anything like it's pictures on Airbnb. Total scam!! Dirty, sketchy as well!! We booked for a total of 2 nights and stayed 2 hours!! Beware of this place! Only positive thing was the location right off International drive."

"This place is terrible. Stayed from AirBnB and it sounds like my room was better than most, but dealing with the people is not worth it. There's constantly people in the halls and out back. Like at all hours of the day and night. People let their kids run all over, going on the elevators and hitting every button. There was also a fight in the lobby. The place just feels so unsafe. I should also mention a broken down car with the windows smashed out in the parking lot. And there were roaches."
