Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista

"The room smells like cigarettes and marijuana due to our neighbors smoking in their room. Our mini fridge DOESN'T WORK even AFTER someone came out and "fixed" it. The shower gets water ALL OVER the bathroom. Their pillows are so small, they wouldn't even fit toddlers comfortably. And their buffet was atrocious! Their food was disgusting, super oily, cold and just all around the worst food in Orlando. Their plates, bowls and utensils were DIRTY (food clearly on spoons, forks and bowls) for $17.95 a person for BREAKFAST, I'd rather just not eat. This place was a huge let down. They also offer shuttles, but of course they don't go to Magic Kingdom, only Universal or Disney Springs. Such a waste of money."

"When I arrived, the room stank a lot because of the carpet on the floor. I don't recommend anyone who has respiratory problems to go. I bought my stay with breakfast included but I had to pay extra at the hotel's own restaurant to have a better coffee, because what they offer at the accommodation is not good. To give you an idea, the cefe is inside a gift shop and has a coffee machine and a fridge with some bagels, and there is nowhere to sit for coffee, the restaurant is better next door but as I said I had to pay again. When I arrived at around 1 am I was tired and the receptionist was not “friendly” but that was ok because I just wanted to rest. the location is great because it is very close to the Disney parks. "The cons: Customer Service Would have given 4 stars if the bar man wasn't so rude to us when we entered the grill restaurant for dinner on the evening of Wednesday 7th February. Avoid the grill restaurant/bar at the front of the lobby if you don't want to be treated like a dog. In all my years working in the tourism & hospitality industry I've never encountered anyone so rude and inhospitable. His hostile manner really brings the place (and the mood) down. A career change might be the best option, sir. Rooms Our main feedback would be to replace the carpets as they're very dated, with lots of large stains from spillages. The pros: Food/Service After the strange & awkward encounter, we walked out of the grill bar and preceded to the Boardwalk Buffet restaurant instead, where the staff were lovely and welcoming (thank you ladies). The dinner buffet had a good selection, with fresh salads and fruit available along with hot food items. The breakfast buffet had a good selection with plenty to choose from, and it set us up for the day. Rooms The rooms are quite dated but they are very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night stay - lots of towels, coffee maker, TV, fridge, air con, etc. The beds are soft and we both slept very well. Location The hotel is a great base for the theme parks, and a free shuttle runs daily to these. A shopping mall can be found nearby with plenty of shops."

"Beautiful property and rooms are decent even though there was a building under construction or being renovated. The rooms are motel designed but fully functional. The beds were comfortable, and water was hot. It's located very close to various shops, theme parks, & restaurants. The only complaint is that they should spray for bugs. I saw 2 roaches during our stay. Rooms look exactly like photos on the website."

"Cleaned the room each day which isn't always the case at some places these days. The hotel provided transportation to and from Disney and universal parks with a set schedule that made planning super easy. Room is priced just right for a vacation and the beds are comfortable with proper amenities. The only amenity I felt was missing was a fitness center! (But we all know we get our leg workouts at the parks anyway!)"
