"The Barefoot Birth team is nothing short of exceptional. My husband and I haven’t always had the best experience at hospitals and once we found out we were pregnant we knew we wanted to go the natural route and have a home birth. After doing a lot of research and googling, we found Barefoot Birth and haven’t looked back. From prenatal care to post-partum care, this has been the most amazing experience of my life. I never thought I’d find a provider willing to answer my questions, and provide trust and confidence in decisions I wanted to make. I am truly grateful for the care, support, kindness, wisdom, and laughs provided by the midwives at Barefoot Birth. Ive never been this comfortable with a healthcare provider and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to bring my son into this world. I’ve heard so many stories of people’s first times giving birth and I give so much thanks to Barefoot for mine. During the birth, Bennett and Lauren were absolutely amazing. They were so encouraging, and laughed with me in times when laughter was what I needed the most. I’ve never felt more empowered, heard and seen. "Charlie and her Barefoot Birth team are absolutely amazing. I was able to have them as my midwives for my first baby’s birth and it was a wonderful experience. Every prenatal appointment they made sure I got all my questions answered and that I felt at ease and comfortable in the process. Their birth classes were very helpful for it being my first pregnancy/ birth. They helped both me and my husband know what the expect / how to prepare. During the birth Bennett and Charlie were absolutely amazing. They were there for help and reassurance when needed, they helped with counter pressure so my husband could get a break, and they were so calm and peaceful and encouraging. The birth process was of course very intense but it really was as peaceful and smooth as I believe it could be. We felt totally cared for and in great hands the whole time. Once our baby was born they were so kind and reassuring as we had many questions being first time parents. And they were even helpful months later when I had nursing questions or postpartum questions, they were always willing to offer help and knowledge. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for midwifery care. They are the best of the best and we were so blessed to be able to have had their help during our son’s birth."

"I was so happy with Barefoot Birth and all the midwives here! Charlie, Bennet and Sarah are all so knowledgeable, capable, and personable! I was so impressed with each of them. I had some things throughout my pregnancy that concerned me such as placenta placement and they handled them all perfectly - went the extra step to make sure home birth was a safe option for me and my baby but also were reassuring and not alarmists. Charlie always spent a lot of time with us at each appointment, it was always great to see her and I always left feeling great about things and confident that my baby and I were in good hands! Bennet and Sarah were the ones at my birth and they were awesome!! My labor progressed much quicker then I realized so I was pushing when they arrived at my house but they acted quick but calmly and knew exactly what to do for a safe delivery of my son. Not only were they really skilled but they were also very nice and helped me so much right after I had him with cleaning me up, helping with the latching etc. I was very happy with Barefoot Birth during pregnancy and labor and would absolutely recommend them!"

"I am SO grateful for Barefoot Birth and everyone who was involved during my pregnancy & postpartum journey. Everyone was so loving and attentive to my needs/concerns. I loved how they treated my two toddlers, who absolutely adored their playroom, and always made us feel welcomed as a (growing) family. I did plan to have a hospital birth from the start but wanted my prenatal care with an experienced midwife and I am so happy with how all of it worked out. The funny thing about delivering at the hospital was that the nurse on staff actually had a home birth 8 years ago with Charlie! Thanks for all that you guys have done, I am forever thankful!"

"I am so thankful to Barefoot birth for helping me to get the birth that I wished and prayed for! They are so caring and never make you feel rushed during an appointment. They offer help and suggestions (such as doing Spinning Babies) to prepare for birth but at the end of the day everything you do is your decision. They don’t force anything on you but they are so knowledgeable and helpful. The birth class they offer also helps you feel prepared and empowered. I had my first baby October 2023 with them and will certainly be using barefoot birth for my next pregnancy."
