"ZERO STARS!! As a potential new customer, I was just seeking a quote and the jerk (to put it mildly) was more concerned about the rates received from other Insurers I was offered, rather than providing a quote. It appears that Slide uses Homefront (formerly Clegg Insurance) which hosts a pool of agents to assist. You don't know who you'll get but not a good first impression. If this is how a customer is treated from onset, can you imagine how you'll be treated if you need to file a claim?? At the rate that they're moving per the reviews I'm reading, this company will be "Sliding" themselves out of business!! Upper Management, the Owner or SOMEBODY need to be monitoring daily Ops and their Customer service (or lack thereof). Just. Not. Cool. NEXT!!"

"Arriving at my winter home in Florida I found although I had a house surge protector installed, a surge bypassed the protector and fried my refrigerator, microwave oven and the battery trickle charger attached to my car battery. I contacted Slide and reported the damage to these fine folks. I explained the situation to them and advised I never filed a claim with any insurance company. These folks walked me through the entire process and stated they would be in contact with me. The staff at Slide called me every day to keep me informed of the claim. Within about 3 days I was called and advised the claim was approved and I was told of the amount of each item effected by this surge. Each and everyone I spoke with at Slide was very knowledgeable, polite and considerate with my problems. I was totally impressed and would recommend Slide to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable insurance company. Steve Seifried Naples, Florida"

"Slide. Is that the name of the insurance company or the direction their customers are headed in doing business with them? I've had nothing but bad experiences with Slide--and I've yet to file a claim. I paid my annual premium 2 weeks in advance and then I got notifications from Slide indicating that my policy lapsed and payment was due. Then I found that they cashed my check but still sent me mail notifications indicating my payment was due. They even indicated the premium due notice was mailed tomy Mortgagee on record. I let them know two years ago our mortgage was paid in full. The company doesn't have a clue when it comes to processing payments and making customers feel like they're doing business with a reliable provider. My 1 star rating is being generous."

"If I could give them a negative star I would, they have not been helpful at all since hurricane Ian. We are still waiting till this day for a response after they supposedly said they will give 55K, but yet we hear nothing. They have low balled us because we need a roof, walls, floors, 2 windows minimum, vents, insulation and repairs to the exterior of the house too. They are the worst everyone else has been helped by their companies but here we are still waiting and I can’t wait to get my roof fixed so I can leave this company. Already working on finding a lawyer due to this. We even had a public adjuster who is just as useless and we wish we could kick them to the curve and not pay her because she did nothing except just cower down"
