"Had an amazing stay with a friend for our birthdays, got upgraded to a suite by a very friendly front desk agent and had the best time. For the price you cannot beat it. It is clean and comfortable, the foot and drink options are basic but tasty. The transportation to the theme parks runs often and efficiently. It was a very nice stay. Will definitely go again if I'm doing a theme park vacation"

"Budget, practical hotel with all the amenities for a convenient and comfortable Universal or even Disney experience. We had a comfortable basic studio room with two queens in the main studio and a separate double bedroom. Nicely decorated and clean, simply what you need and no more apart from the whimsical surf board. Equipped with a one cup coffee machine, microwave and fridge and a pleasant bench style dining table perfect for 4 possible for 6. Bath and shower provided, double sinks with hair drier. Standard 4 digit electronic safe. Room did have a high pitched buzz/whine we never tracked down. Check in and out super simple, friendly bar and American comfort food in the ground floor diner. Local Uber Eats drivers know the routine to deliver to the lobby. Starbucks and gift shop in the lobby, well equipped but poorly maintained and warm fitness centre in tower 1. Having the studio made for a much better stay and it is super easy to access the Universal parks with the excellent bus service. Don’t expect flashy but a really good solid option for a Florida stay."

"The rooms are good. Yes the walls don’t offer a ton of privacy but everyone around d us seemed to be respectful of that. The shuttle to the parks was so convenient. The little kitchen was nice i wish the room was bigger but for the price it was good. We did get food in the lobby one time and it was not worth it it was so expensive and not worth the price we paid . The beds were comfy. Shower was to small and stuffy. Otherwise no complaints. Checking in was easy. If you want to know more let me know"

"Polite and professional staff. The rooms were clean and worth the price. The Christmas tree in the lobby was really nice. The bar had good mixed drinks. Starbucks was a good addition to the lobby. The gym was great also. The two areas that could use improvement: The quality of some of the food at the food establishments in the hotel. I am almost certain the eggs were powdered. Some other items were of questionable quality. While there is nothing wrong with powdered eggs(if these were) one would hope for something just a bit more “upscale” for this type of establishment. The doors to the rooms are not soundproof— at all. If you plan on sleeping, bring earplugs. Not sure why the hotel was designed like this but it a very poor feature of the hotel construction/design. Also, there is an adjoining door between the rooms, further contributing to the excess noise. I think there was a parking fee of about$15/day. The shuttle service to Universal City Walk is convenient to go to the universal restaurants."

"My partner and I stayed at Dockside from 2/4-2/8 and absolutely loved it! This was our first time at this resort, second time visiting Universal Orlando, and I think we've unanimously decided that this is where we'll stay next time we visit the parks. This resort doesn't feel cheap, or like a value hotel. Getting early park hours, free shuttles, and a massive cafeteria with good quality food feels like a steal. We had originally booked a two queen room and got surprised upgraded with a suite, no extra charge! The suites are quite spacious and have a mini kitchenette, so you can store any snacks you brought from home. The staff were very friendly. Shuttles were easy to get to, and having an unlimited refill cup was massively helpful. Elevators can get crowded, as can the lobby and check-in desks, so just plan accordingly. Try to eat at off times and use shuttles when everyone isn't trying to leave / come back. Also, on our departure day, we saw Gru in the lobby! Character interactions at a budget hotel, that's an insane value. Can't wait to visit Dockside again. We really did have a wonderful time staying here, I have no complaints."
