Beech Vets
● Closed“This is a good vets practice. They were extremely helpful getting my cats booster vaccines when a previous practice let me down repeatedly. I had them moved over and booked in within the week. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, easy to make appointments, and good communication. The vet was really good with my cats and had a great rapport with them. Would definitely recommend.”

Etwall Vets
● Closed“I cannot recommend this Vets highly enough. Our cat Basil came to this Vets when referred from Willington Vets. He presented with breathing difficulties and general unwellness. We live on a narrowboat travelling up to Market Drayton so we were very grateful Etwall Vets could see him so quickly. Urgent tests were performed and options were talked about, but my baby boy was so poorly, we couldn't put him through any more. He had already fought cancer less than a month ago, losing his back leg in the process. I could ask no more of him. Absolutely devastated after he'd fought so hard. We made the painful decision to let him go over Rainbow Bridge. The vets there are extremely compassionate. My husband and I were given a little room with him for an hour. They played soothing music to calm him. Made us a cup of tea and brought us a biscuit (husband being diabetic this was very welcome). When we were ready, the vet came in and sent him peacefully on his way. We had choices as to what to do with him but nothing was rushed, nothing too much trouble. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did.”

Scarsdale Vets - Shelton Lock
● Closed“Sadly I had to have my treasured dog put to sleep . My dog and myself were treated with respect and sympathy. I was with her in the final moments of her life. Every was sorted for me from cremation, ashes box everything. All the time there was no mention of cost which was the last thing you needed to hear. It took 2weeks to get ashes and that's when I was given the cost. Thanks to everyone at scarsdale vets for 8 years of caring.”

Medivet Matlock
● Open“we have been using pesk vets for 8 yrs and becose our little buck rabbit nearly died on a visit a couple of yrs ago and told it was because of the stress the vet told us...so we then got home visits for our 2 bunnies for there boosters and claws clipped, but now weve been informed they are not doing home visits now as its unviable..meaning I think not profitable enough. im distraught about this snd sad to learn it...and I was informed that they are short staffed and various vets and people have left this practice ..so then I did some research about there previous owners call medivet who are a company not a vetniary practice and ive since found out they have sold on to a equity company called cvc capital partners although still use the name medivets...so my fear here is that they are bot doing home visits as in there words unviable? ...how can veterinary practices be run by an equity company who only has, profits in mind and not the welfare of our pets..thats my question ..though I must stress in no way would I want to criticise the vets there and that practice for the good work they do..I have since regrettably had to register with another local vet who will do home visits to give mu dear bunnies there boosters and clip there claws.I thank peak vets for the invaluable home visits that they did do and a special thank you to Rachael the vet who used to come to us and came out to treat dylan our buck rabbit an emergency and saved his life thank you so much ..but has since left this practice”
