“I changed to this vet when I moved house, and with moving house comes the complication of local un-neutered Toms to 'discuss' territory with my own cat, so I've visited a couple more times than I'd have liked to! I've only ever visited during covid times, both for routine jabs (one of which my cat had been getting annually at the last place, which Rushcliffe advised was only necessary every second year) and for a couple of 'war wounds'. All the staff are so friendly whilst being efficient, and I trust them completely to take care of Monty while I wait in the car park. Would recommend, and have done.”

“Used ARK vets for the first time this week after the dog we are looking after fell ill. I was surprised and really happy at how positive the experience was. I called the surgery at 4.45pm – the phone rang twice before being answered and on this occasion they were able to see me within the hour. Both the receptionist and vet were incredibly helpful – even showing us through to a private room to wait in, as the dog was a bit overexcited. The vet was incredibly helpful and understanding. I mentioned that we are fostering the dog, so would not be able to immediately agree to any long-term treatment strategy. With this in mind, she ran through a number of possible options, did plenty of tests and recommended short term treatment options to ease the dog’s immediate issues and discomfort. An itemised receipt was provided for the owner, with the offer of calling back for further information if needed. I found ARK very caring and understanding to both dog and owner, which made things a lot easier during what could have been a difficult time. Can’t fault this vet and won’t hesitate to use them again.”

“We have taken our two cats to Churchcroft over the past 9-years and have always felt assured that they have had their best interests at heart. Sadly, one of our cats recently became poorly very quickly and we ultimately had to take the decision to put her to sleep. The team at Churchcroft did everything they could to give our Rolo the best possible chance of recovery, and George in particular seemed to take a personal interest in getting her better. We never felt under pressure to make a decision one way or the other, and the team always spoke to us with the right mix of compassion and clarity. The aftercare of the staff at Churchcroft since Rolo left us has been great; they truly care about the welfare of the animals under their care and their owners. They were thoughtful enough to provide us with a lock of Rolo's fur and a paw print, which we will be forever grateful for. Overall, we cannot recommend Churchcroft highly enough.”

No problems getting in, barney was prioritised as he was unwell, reception staff have been brilliant helping me with insurance claims as well!”

“Our boy Creeper was close to death after a severe blockage when he came to Dovecote. Not only did they save him once but twice as he reblocked a few months later. He was a complicated case and we had been told prior to coming to Dovecote his chances of surviving were low. We could not be happier or more grateful to the entire team who was a part of saving him. Everyone were absolutely amazing and we couldn't recommend them high enough ♥️”
