“Five beautiful studios with LeMark sprung flooring. A huge reception/social area, dedicated changing rooms, cafe and free car parking. Follows the RAD and ISTD syllabus. Excellent fully qualified teaching faculty. An amazing competition team who are All England Gold Medallists and part of Team England for the Dance World Cup in Rome 2020. Professional but friendly atmosphere. Great student vocations at professional level.”

Activated private / work health insurance to get the operation sooner for blocked infected sinuses as couldn't carry on just popping very strong antibiotics that were making me feel ill and bloated. Took 24hrs to arrange, then Monday seeing Consultant, Tues for pre-op and was in for my operation 7am Weds ! Fantastic care - but then it is Royal Derby (treated and destroyed my throat cancer WITHOUT SURGERY in 2013). Private room, visitors allowed 24/7, but was discharged 7hrs after my operation so well pleased !! For us it's the brilliant Royal Derby every time - no brainer - the whole staff, setup, facilities there means the best treatment !! Thanks again Royal Derby !”

They have grown in confidence now and love joining in with Laura and Bethany both are amazing coaches and it feels as though we are part of their family. “A great little find not far from home! The food is always tasty, with generous portions and the desserts are delicious! The restaurant hosts a great cinema on site with a BFI feel and you can take your dessert in with you. They have great movie and dinner offers. Staff are friendly, I highly recommend it.”

“Great small museum in Derby, focusing on middle class life in this house in the 18th and 19th century (Built by an architect, Joseph Pickford. The various rooms have been re-created (people included) to look like they did back then, and they're full of fascinating details. These occupy mainly the ground floor and the basement. On the upper two floors you can find other exhibitions (currently a temporary one on the hip fashion in Britain in the 1960s), including a permanent display of toy theatres people in the 18th and 19th centuries used to play or re-enact plays with. This seems to be the largest such collection in the world today, there are dozens of them about from different countries. Endlessly fascinating! I enjoyed those a lot. When in the basement, which was basically the kitchen wing of the old house, you can also get into the garden and relax for a while. The museum is free (donations welcome), and you can take photos! Nice volunteers that will provide you with extra information. The museum is about a 10-minute walk from Derby Museum and Art Gallery, 15-20 minutes from the city centre. I promise it'll be worth your while.”

“We saw Cats in December 2012 here and was blown away! I had heard other people talk about the venue and how good it was, and they where right. Since then my husband and I have beeen to the Comedy Club (AMAZING!!!) and saw Westside Story and Les Mis! We have stopped going to Derby Live & Derby Theatre since finding this place. You can tell the staff really care about the venue and it customers. I highly recommend going to see a show.”

“All of the staff are pleasant to interact with, making every trip really enjoyable and stressfree. The screens need some updating but that can be forgiven of such a big multiplex in a relatively small town - we can't expect the BFI in Burton. There is an amazing member of staff who always greets me with a big smile - really welcoming! She might not be an employee of Cineworld, she looks more like a security person. Absolute star!”
