“A great little find not far from home! The food is always tasty, with generous portions and the desserts are delicious! The restaurant hosts a great cinema on site with a BFI feel and you can take your dessert in with you. They have great movie and dinner offers. Staff are friendly, I highly recommend it.”

“Comfortable seats, friendly staff but I think £19.50 is a bit steep for the cinema. Their monthly deal sounds good at £14.95 a month for unlimited films but only if you can go regularly. Overall though a good experience.”

“Went to watch the film called Plane. Was great was little bit busy which was good. Food & Drink was over prices but this was a cinema. Seats was ok. Staff was polite and helpful.”

“Overall we had a good stay and the room was clean,the bed was amazing! The only 2 things things I will say is that the room was extremely hot there was a fan provided however it didn't really have enough power to cool the room and in the bathroom there was no toilet brush which would have been nice. We had breakfast in the restaurant but was put off by the ants that were crawling around on the table and along the wall beside us which I did mention to a member of staff but everything else was perfect.”

“As a Landord myself. I know only too well how you want your children to feel safe in their student accommodation. Nick and his team are very professional and could not do enough for us. Nick even picked my daughter up from the train station with all her belongings. Then once we were checked in, the room was immaculately clean. It was a gated development and my daughter had the best time ever living here. Once my son starts uni I will most certainly be contacting Nick and his team.”

“Great small museum in Derby, focusing on middle class life in this house in the 18th and 19th century (Built by an architect, Joseph Pickford. The various rooms have been re-created (people included) to look like they did back then, and they're full of fascinating details. These occupy mainly the ground floor and the basement. On the upper two floors you can find other exhibitions (currently a temporary one on the hip fashion in Britain in the 1960s), including a permanent display of toy theatres people in the 18th and 19th centuries used to play or re-enact plays with. This seems to be the largest such collection in the world today, there are dozens of them about from different countries. Endlessly fascinating! I enjoyed those a lot. When in the basement, which was basically the kitchen wing of the old house, you can also get into the garden and relax for a while. The museum is free (donations welcome), and you can take photos! Nice volunteers that will provide you with extra information. The museum is about a 10-minute walk from Derby Museum and Art Gallery, 15-20 minutes from the city centre. I promise it'll be worth your while.”

“We saw Cats in December 2012 here and was blown away! I had heard other people talk about the venue and how good it was, and they where right. Since then my husband and I have beeen to the Comedy Club (AMAZING!!!) and saw Westside Story and Les Mis! We have stopped going to Derby Live & Derby Theatre since finding this place. You can tell the staff really care about the venue and it customers. I highly recommend going to see a show.”

“All of the staff are pleasant to interact with, making every trip really enjoyable and stressfree. The screens need some updating but that can be forgiven of such a big multiplex in a relatively small town - we can't expect the BFI in Burton. There is an amazing member of staff who always greets me with a big smile - really welcoming! She might not be an employee of Cineworld, she looks more like a security person. Absolute star!”
