“Razz is honestly the best thing we’ve ever done. My daughter struggled with confidence and we were looking for something that might help her. Phil, Jude and all the staff have nurtured her from day 1, and it’s the thing she looks forward to most all week. She’s made lovely friends and to see her blossom has been wonderful. We went to the first performance since Covid recently and to see her sing and dance with such confidence and joy was just fantastic. We’re delighted that she’s found a place that makes her so happy x”

“To say I am genuinely - absolutely over the moon about joining this school is an understatement! I have been working in the tv and film industry for about 12 years doing various kinds of jobs and have trained in many institutions… All of which were good in their own way… Since I joined Act4tv I got my first professional tv audition a couple of months later for a literal cast speaking role. I booked the job! I was absolutely gobsmacked! Named character, popular ITV tv show, and my character will be the driving force of a whole episode! I train in the online classes on Saturday mornings and John Gully is my teacher and I truly believe he deserves a lot of credit for my success. He is a one in a million kind of teacher who naturally caters to each individual’s need.”

“Beautiful inside and out, with incredibly efficient and friendly staff who went out of their way to make getting everyone in and out as smooth as possible, at start, finish and intermission. Only drawback for me was the heat as it built up through the evening. It became very stuffy on the 3rd out of 4 levels and unfortunately the lack of oxygen did make me want to get out as quick as possible at the end!”

“Even with a Vue IMAX screen less than a 5 min walk from the door, the Atmos sound and dual 4k projector quality of the Dolby Screen (Screen 2) makes the trip worthwhile. All seats are equal and premium recliners. Experienced a lot of great cinema setups over the years but this one is the best by far.”

“Its been quite a number of years since visiting this cinema, and what a pleasant surprise ! Not only is their "Insider" membership (which is free) a great incentive - cheaper tickets on a Sunday evening and all day Mondays and Tuesdays - (plus "cash back on purchases) but the seats are absolutely amazing. Massive comfortable leather reclining seats with foot rests and loads of leg room. Highly recommended !”

“My first time visiting this cinema. Definitely an experience. Went very early so hard to say what it would be like during busy periods. Staff were friendly and professional. Seats were very comfortable and the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed. Will definitely go again”

“Incredible place. Amazing decor and vibe. There are always some events in Leeds Town Hall. It is a good place to hang out. During good days the sunshine in front of Leeds Town Hall is amazing. It is absolutely a place you need to go if you are in Leeds!”

“I can't believe I have never written a review for this place. I have being coming to this cinema for years it is my go to. I have being at any time of the day with different people throughout the years, the memories I have created here along side the countless movies I have both enjoyed and despised is a beautiful thing. The staff at this location are always super friendly and helpful I have not once had any terrible encounters with any of the staff members. Let's also thank everyone who cleans in this place because it is always spotless and I know for a fact that cinemas get messy but not once have I ever noticed it being dirty. The choice of snacks and food is amazing there's plenty to choose from yes the prices are a little much don't get me wrong but you're going for the experience so why not spend a little more? If that's not your taste just respectfully bring your own snacks in, they don't mind just don't make a fuss about it. The seats are comfortable to sit in, the lighting is just right. The sound is always perfect, the films always run on time without a fail honestly it's a perfect cinema. Finally big shout out to the public who attend because although I have being for years not once has anyone being a fuss, everyone has sat and watched the same film and shared some emotions. You can see the pure enjoyment on everyone's face when they leave that viewing room, you can tell an experience was had.”

“I studied the GDL here last year and I am currently completing the LPC. The quality of the teaching is overall very good at ULaw, and the tutors are all incredibly helpful and supportive. The building itself is impressive and stands out on Park Row. The campus isn't huge, but has a fairly sizeable library as well as an open space on the top floor which also has computers. The top floor is a great space if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere for studying and socialising. The location of the campus is ideal, being right in the centre of Leeds it is just a 5 minute walk from the train station, and close to many of the city's big law firms. Would certainly recommend to anyone also considering completing their GDL or LPC here.”

“Excellent Childrens’ Theatre. Brilliant plays performed by talented young people and adults. As a family we have always attended their shows at The Carriageworks Theatre, which are affordable and amazing entertainment for the whole family. We simply love the LCT! Carry on doing what you are doing because it is great.”

“My son (9) joined Stagecoach when he was 4 years old. From day one, he has absolutely loved every second of it. Mark, the Principal, has a genuine care for his students as do all the teachers that work there. The venue is fantastic and has a proper stage/theatre room where they can perform their shows, giving the kids invaluable experience. The shows are always of high quality and it is obvious how much time, effort and care has gone into each of them. I really cannot recommend this group enough.”

“Nothing was too much trouble .The Staff were wonderful so friendly. The room was huge . The bathrooms spotless Beds Do very comfy . I have very poor sleep But slept very well. Linen crisp clean . The tea coffee in the room were really nice and we were told “just ask for more “ . Iron and clean ironing board just asked and was given . Anything you needed was there . Towels beautiful fluffy. Lovely view of growing Leeds . The food and the cheeky cocktails we treated ourselves to was delicious and hot . There was so much to choice at breakfast. We can not praise this particular TL enough . Felt safe and warm . Thank you for making the 2 days we were in Leeds so lovely . We have recommended you to our friends the next time we all get together again in your beautiful city of friendly Leeds”
