Miss U Motel - Cattery Canberra
“If I could give this place 10 stars I would! My father has been taking his cats to Yvette and LouEllen for 12+years and he recently passed away very suddenly. Having never even met Yvette or LouEllen (as I'm interstate), they went above and beyond to assist me with everything! Despite not being an adoption centre, they found my Dad's cat a new home and made sure that whatever needed to be done was done! After having experienced such tragedy with my Dad's passing, it was one less thing I had to worry about as I knew the cat was in great hands!!! Thank you Yvette and LouEllen - your kindness, compassion and ability to just make things happen will not be forgotten xxxx”
A by Adina Canberra
“Had a wonderful stay! Rooms are modern, stylish, and extremely well appointed. With a new baby, I appreciated the en-suite kitchen and laundry. Central proximity to the lake, sites, restaurants, and city center. Hotel staff was beyond friendly and helpful, making sure we were aware of and took advantage of the promotions offered with our room. They even gave us a stuffie to take home to the States! We’ll be back on our next stay in Canberra!”
Mercure Canberra Belconnen
“I personally found the Mercure Belconnen very good, it had clean comfortable rooms that present smartly. I also found staff to be efficient and professional. A pleasant experience.”
Hyatt Hotel Canberra - A Park Hyatt Hotel
“I didn’t stay. I just had a fancy afternoon tea. It looks like it’s from a movie. The food was on big platters and we had our own really kind helper. She was really nice. There were scones, jam and cream. And small bamboo shaped boats of food. This was for my birthday and it was beautiful. Everyone was so kind. I don’t think this could get any better”
Avenue Hotel Canberra
“One bedroom apartment is nice and fully furnished. Friendly staff and great service. Bathroom fan was a bit noisy. Fantastic location with shops and service nearby.”
Little National Hotel Canberra
“I loved everything in this hotel. Room is minimalist design, but comfortable and spacious enough for two people. There’s complimentary T2 tea and Nespresso in the room. Working area is quiet, perfect chairs and tables for working and you can get free green apple and make your own tea or coffee.”

River Motel Queanbeyan
“Every time we stay at River Motel Queanbeyan we are greeted with a smile by the friendly staff, our room is always spotless, the bed is comfortable with fresh clean sheets. The shower is spacious, has very good water pressure that’s easy to adjust to the perfect temp. The rates are very reasonable too. It’s close to the main street with a big choice of restaurants and right next to the Queanbeyan River which is lovely to take a relaxing walk along, also there is a playground for kids. We highly recommend River Motel.”

QT Canberra
“What the rooms lack in size (& lack of soundproofing) is made up by the food! From in room service breakfast, to dinner at The Capitol and a conference dinner, was not only beautifully presented but tasted delicious and generous. From the signature QT quirky decor, I was impressed each room has a Dyson hairdryer too.”
Canberra Ave Villas
“My stay has always been excellent here because no matter what room I stay in it's always clean, comfy, big high ceilings and has a great shower, and a great kitchen. I'm away from home a lot so I try to stay here when I can. I've been to them all, Canberra Ave Villas is the best by far. It's like home while I'm away from home.”

Pinnacle Apartments Canberra
“As can happen anywhere there was a glitch early in our stay early in May. The two senior managers attended our room and completely resolved the issue. They were professional, friendly and very helpful. It is how one deals with problematic situations that decides how big or little a problem is. 10/10 for the senior staff here and how their addressing of an issue made my holiday better and now I’ll recommend Pinnacle to everyone!”
Canberra Rex Hotel
“We stayed at the crown suite and the experience was good. The room was big enough, the layout is logical, the bed was comfortable, the shower works. The pool was warm enough in winter. The breakfast buffet was simple but tastes ok. The staff were friendly and helpful.”
The Capital Airport Motel
“After over 10 educational trips to Canberra, I can honestly say that The Capital Airport Motel offers the best in school accommodation. One huge plus is this provider is a schools only accommodation. Our students, and other teachers felt safe and informed from the moment we arrived. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our student were looked after, however always ensured us as teachers were aware and comfortable with what was happening. The staff enabled us as teachers to enjoy simple things such as a meal in the morning and dinner of a night, and as I’m sure other teachers will appreciate, being able to have a few moments over a meal on a camp is amazing! Simple but honest options were offered at meal times for students (The roast night was a huge hit) With a simple menu offering more than enough variety to the teachers. Lunches on the bus with no thought needed from us. In the lead up to our trip we were somewhat apprehensive about some of our students needs as they have quite severe allergies. Again from the moment we arrived it was explained (in detail) how these would be managed, and really did but our minds at ease. The students with allergies were offered variety in food, didn’t miss out and encountered zero issue, a real credit to the people looking after catering. Would I recommend others to stay? Most certainly, especially if you are looking for the best experience for your students. Thank you again Kathryn, Ryan and the amazing team. The staff PSPS”
Peppers Gallery Hotel Canberra

Alpha Hotel Canberra
“Great rooms, with friendly service and amenities have stayed here a few times and have always kept us happy (not forgetting the gym, great variety of equipments compared to the Novotel Canberra with the tiniest gym and dated smelly rooms which we stayed in over the Easter long weekend). Close to the shops and great restaurants too.”
Mercure Canberra
“Stayed over the Easter long weekend and had a wonderful time. During the Easter period there was kids hour (4-5pm) of free hot chocolate and homemade biscuits. They also had kids activity of colouring which my toddler loved doing every night. It would be good to have colouring table every day during the school holidays not just the Easter period. They also have 2 fish tanks on both sides of the building. One has the larger koi fishes which my toddler has to say hi every time we walk past. The room was massive and had lots of free space even with a cot in our room. Only downside with a big room, we had to have the heater on full blast to heat up the room. For the buffet breakfast they didn't have the biggest selection but enough to cover the standard (incl eggs to order) and for $26 (if you pay on the spot) it's worth it. The reception staff were lovely every time we asked for assistance. We will be back on our next trip to Canberra.”
Ramada Diplomat Canberra
“We arrived by train and it was only a 5 minute walk to the Ramada. Straight away you can see the quality in the place, the bar and restaurant area is Wow! They let us check in early, were super friendly. The room was a really good size and the bed was very soft a luxurious! They bent over backwards for us for breakfast with a specialised Vegan meal and we really enjoyed the happy hour in the lounge areas with games to play. We will definitely come again!”
