"Contacted them about a home I was very interested in all I ever got was automated responses and a call center in India they were supposed to contact me to set up a video walkthrough that never happened when I contacted them to find out what the problem was I was told I need to stick to one agent I never contacted anyone else just absolutely appalling in every possible way find yourself a different agent I guess I don't have 18 emails from Robert Miller who is listed as one of your agents on your website tonight then either do i? Don't try to gaslight me I'm not a stupid as the other people you rip off I didn't even see you making apology to the disabled woman and her blind husband"
"David and Susan are the best!"
"My honest review. First off I want to state that I have a very good friend who works for Remax so I know a little about their practices and not all Remax offices are the same for they are individually owned and operated but use the Remax name. As a dear friend said to me was that as a Remax agent and a Broker one should Know the properties they are selling and all the defects so there won’t be hidden issues. When we started looking for homes we made it VERY CLEAR to the Agent that we needed a home that was sound and if anything was to be wrong with the home that it would just be cosmetic only. Since my husband is totally blind and I am disabled as well, we could not do certain things. We found a home several homes we considered but liked a house in Marissa Illinois. When we looked at it we where told several times that the owner was a builder and he knows how to fix issues. From the get go there was several things wrong with the house that we where told the owner would fix and several things that where NOT DISCLOSED. Such as 1.)Cracked and Bulging Foundation 2.)Fresh Paint that Covered Foundation issues. 3.)Mold 4.)Dangerous Electric Issues 5.) Water That comes from the roof that leaks in the walls 6.)Chimney Issues 7.)Rotted Bathroom floors. 8.)Illegal plumbing issues Now you would think the Agent would know about these issues especially the floor in the bathroom and electrical and structural and Illegal plumbing too but obviously we feel all the Agent wanted to do was sell us a home and not really look out for our best interest. Not naming names we have contacted several companies who verified all of the above. We are not just stating faulse claims. I’m not that kind of person. We feel like we where totally taken advantage of. Many neighbors even stated the owner as someone you shouldn’t buy a home from and we will make sure all these will be reported in the realtor complaints. Instead of a simple sorry and let’s help you out they deny all claims and threats of lawsuits on a blind man and a disabled lady. We are just stating our facts on the house we purchased. Nothing else. To be fair, I would never use them again and most of our town won’t either because they have seen what the damages are and feel for us. The Agents who are bringing in the sales great but what I feel they have done to us is unethical and I’m not just saying this. The Corporate Remax, The BBB on the phone, The Attorney General in Chicago, The Disabilities Rights and much more. I hope and pray they would write a simple I’m sorry letter. At this point that’s all we ask for. Knowing a good friend from Remax makes me extremely sad but her office they have to know their properties and what is and what isn’t wrong with them. This is my honest review. It took me a lot of time but I wanted people to know how we have felt. My 4 year old who has Epilepsy got sick from the mold and my 22 year old almost got hurt when a Electric Fire almost accrued. That is why I’m writing this. I’m not angry, hurt, sad. I’m just writing a honest upfront review. Would I use Remax in Belleville or any other areas near by absolutely not."
"The Prime Group has an amazing team of real estate agents. Call Tanya Hawkins for your next home purchase or to sell your current home."
"The Holden Team at RE/MAX Preferred are the best in the business. I've been referring clients to them for 20+ years and they have always performed beyond expectation. If you are looking for a real estate brokerage to represent you in the purchase or sale of a property, you won't find more ethical or professional people to deal with. Highly recommend Susan and handsome David Holden."
