"This company is doing work across from my office. It rained a lot overnight and this morning, causing their equipment to leave a lot of mud on the middle of the road. I was so pleasantly surprised to see one of their workers scrapping up the mud, so we don't have to drive through it for the next couple days. Great job!"

Said they were too busy to get back to me, but could email me an informal bid if I wanted one. Asked if they wanted the job, and they said "not really". Disappointingly unprofessional."
