The Home Depot

"I had a washing machine delivered by Linn Star Transport, who Home Depot contracts for deliveries. It was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a company, as the delivery guys left the washer I paid to have hauled away in the middle of the parking lot at my condo complex. Then after six calls to both Home Depot Customer Service and the company itself yesterday (both of the Linn Star Transport customer service agents hung up on me because I wouldn't accept a "we will have to call you back.") So after they failed to return yesterday to pick it up, as they told Home Depot customer service they were going to do, I called Home Depot Customer Service again this morning and was told the delivery company would not return to pick up the washer for three days, and they were closed on Sundays so she couldn't get in touch with them, she put me in contact with the store my order was associated with (S Lindbergh store) and their management was fantastic. They were able to send out a supervisor to pick the washer up this afternoon. This experience has been a nightmare, but I was extremely thankful to the team at this location for going above and beyond. I am giving 5 stars for this location, but am extremely disappointed that Home Depot has contracted such a shady and unprofessional delivery company. I read all of Linn Star Transfer's Google reviews which are 95% 1 star reviews for similar unprofessional, and again, shady business practices. If I were to give a review of Home Depot in general, they would not get 5 stars because of contracting such a this company to represent them. Thanks to Harris and the other management at this store for finding a way to pick up the washer on a Sunday when they don't normally handle the deliveries themselves and keeping me for getting fined by my HOA for dumping. While I will continue to shop at this particular Home Depot, I will never again purchase an appliance from them as long as they continue to contract such a terrible company to do their deliveries."

"Home Depot always has everything I need for my home improvement needs.  I'm a ProXtra member & on this day the self check-out register would not allow me to input my ProXtra membership along with my military discount.  Raven, in customer service, was able to resolve both issues & even provided an explanation.  Excellent customer service is becoming a lost art.  Great job on her part."
