"I rented a mini van and the XM Radio I paid for did not work after the attendant advised me it was working. I got all the way home for my daughter's birthday party, and had to drive back to the location making me late for my daughter's birthday party. That was only the beginning the car needed an oil change once I reached my destination. If that isn't enough it was also filthy when I got inside. Once I returned it ON TIME!!! The door was locked and nobody was working. I called customer service and they advised it should be open. Customer service advised me to drive it to the St Louis Location 35 minutes away. This all occurred on Father's day with my family waiting to meet me at a restaurant!!!! After 43 minutes I finally found the key drop box behind the building on my own... I had to rent a car again today to go to Texas in July. I booked with Enterprise... I wouldn't book with this place ever again in my life even if they gave me a free rental!!!!!!"

"OMG! Unprofessional is an understatement! When I went to pick the car up, the guy pointed out the window and showed me a scratch on the car that I was renting. At the other Fairview location, I’m used to doing a walk around of the vehicle before leaving. He then told me to snap a picture of the scratch if it would make me feel better. As I proceeded to drive off, the Low Tire signal immediately popped up and I took it right back. I was then given ANOTHER vehicle and when I was about 30 minutes out on the highway, the low tire signal came on this vehicle , TOO!! I called the establishment and he kept apologizing! Well, while on my trip, I had to air up the tire, once, EVERYDAY! Upon returning the vehicle, all he did was apologize! Didn’t even attempt to compensate me in any type of way! I will NEVER use that location again!"

We were treated with compassion and attentiveness to our needs. It truly makes a difference to do business with those who have a heart for weary travelers. In the midst of a busy routine, he took time to listen and speak with me. It gave me peace to get behind the wheel with a sense of strength. The van was wonderful and provided plenty of room for our family and dogs to be comfortable. We don't often rent a vehicle, but we will continue to use AVIS.
