"I bought an hdmi cord for $16 on a Friday, realized it was the wrong item, and then went to take it back on Saturday - receipt in hand and still sealed. The employee there couldn't figure out how to return it and couldn't figure out how to give me store credit, so he refused to do anything for me. ALSO - i wrote into gamestop's customer service (because you can only email them) and NEVER heard back. I would rather order what I need online or in a place like target than go to another gamestop."

"Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a GameStop. I used to go there quite a bit with my young son so he could play his games. they haven’t changed much which is kind of refreshing. They helped me pick out some thing that I wanted to get nice people I would recommend them highly!"

"It’s fine. Some of the employees are nice. They don’t really turn over their stock as much as they used to. I’d also recommend against pre-ordering here. I did so a while back, and never got a call that my ordered item came in. After a couple days it was sold out from under me, and I couldn’t get my money back unless I called their customer service phone number (which, currently eight days after calling, I still haven’t gotten). UPDATE: 23 days later, I called customer service back, and found that the initial offer was “not approved” (again, no communication with me). After another twenty minutes, I was sent a gift card for $10 toward my next online purchase."

"Had a great experience when I was in a rush to quickly pickup gift cards I needed that day. Both employees stopped what they were doing to make sure they greeted me (which never happens anywhere anymore). The woman working then came over to ask if I needed help and proceeded to show me where the cards were by walking over to them. I had further questions about Nintendo Switches to help make a decision on my purchase and she answered all of my questions and was very informative. I didn’t get the name of the employees working but both were clearly well informed and put the customers first. I was at the store on 3/17 around 12:30."
