"Our tour guide Mickey was very friendly and informative on all bases. The apartment was old as expected but was filled with character and great amenities unseen at other apartments in the area. The tour of the place was beautiful 5 stars!"
"Chandler was awesome very nice and answered all of my questions even the craziest one it was awesome to have the tour done"
"On site people are great but its a cooperate investment and our corporate overlords are evil. They dodnt work with customers having money issues amd in fact force you to budgeting classes so you can pay more in rent. Property is well kept but showing age.i like to live here if they worked with me."
"I lived in Renew on Temple complex for four years and I can truly say it was an incredible experience. This building is a charming apartment complex located in downtown Salt Lake. Despite being an older building, it is well-maintained and has a lot of character. The location is fantastic, with easy access to all the downtown amenities and attractions. The apartments are comfortable, with everything you need to make it feel like home. The small gym and outdoor patio are a great bonus. The maintenance staff is also fantastic, approachable, and always quick to respond to any issues and keeping the building in great condition. Overall, I highly recommend Renew on Temple to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and conveniently located apartment complex in downtown Salt Lake. The old charm, great renovations, and attentive staff make it a fantastic place to call home."
"I've been living here almost a year in a 2 bed with a balcony overlooking the city (I have also seen the studios), and this historic building comes with some challenges for the maintenance crew. I prefer places like this (radiator heating, window A/C) to the cookie-cutter cheap developments, but I realize that they are trying to keep on top of the repairs. I've had several issues and the maintenance crews jumped through hoops to fix them (with a smile through a brutal winter), and one time was so bad that Robert offered a discount for my trouble. Everything you need to manage tenancy--pay bills, request maintenance--can be done from your phone anywhere, day or night. They are extremely animal-friendly and have a dog park. Kid friendly. Mature trees and very lush grass. Several laundry facilities of different types on site, and a gym. 99% of the neighbors are polite and quiet, and it's on one of the busiest roads. They offer parking passes and these roads do have limits and get packed, so it's nice. I love the character of the places, while still having great internet and new appliances so I don't have to sacrifice modernity. Tons of storage. Trash Valet. My packages haven't been stolen like my last place because they have a package locker system. There's a really cool, still fully operating elevator from the original construction of the place. My kids have loved the open spaces to gather and play and meet kids and dogs. If you get an apartment with a balcony, they will charge you more and make it some sort of "fee" they add on--so what they post for rent and what you pay can be significantly different. There will be a $10 charge for a registration of the package locker (no opt out), a trash valet you don't get to opt-out of, they charge if you don't bring your trash can in quickly, they will charge for spraying for pests, and I've seen more cockroaches here than I have at a super dirt cheap gross apartment that didn't charge me. Maybe it's the animal poop? The laundry is not free. Parking is $100+ a spot, and they DO check it and tow your car (I had a temp rental towed without a sticker for the spot). Pretty standard for a mid-range nice apartment. Because the building is old, many of the utilities are included/shared and portioned out. I have felt it is very safe here, even though it's downtown. No one has ever broken in, robbed me, attempted to climb the balconies, and all pedestrians are kind, polite, clean and keep to themselves. Parking is challenging and the incline can be in Winter months. I love hearing the Cathedral bells everyday, and I will be staying another year."
