"Room is super nice and love that there's a balcony. However the beds are so hard you can barely sleep. The carpet on floor is more comfortable than the bed."

"Very nice check-in staff. Rest of staff ignored me. Parking is expensive. (Hotel guests still have to pay) Company put me up here for a conference across the street. Nice rooms, bed was harder than I like and rooms were chilly (early spring) even when I turned the heat up."

"Great price point and excellent location. Easy access to the Salt Palace Convention Center and the City Creek Mall. I went back and forth from the hotel to the Convention Center several times a day for several days. I went to the food court in the mall for a great variety of food at great prices. I like to be aknowledged when I’m away from home. Like knowing someone is watching out for me. Only happened once in the three days I was there. The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the cleaning staff and their service. I was never waiting for them to arrive. Even though I went back and forth from the Convention Center. I came back to a clean room. It was like a dream. Price of parking a car in their garage is $20 a day. We used our room key for exit from the parking garage. We partook of the Hot Apple Cider and Hot Chocolate Bar in the Lobby. Both delicious! The bar was well maintained and stoked. It was a great treat for cold days."

"I sanitize everything when I arrive at a hotel. This particular room had crusted, dry urine on the toilet which wasn’t even the most bothersome part. It was when I checked underneath the pillows that I discovered something so disgusting. See the pictures for yourself. It was full of dandruff, dry skin…just a lot of shedding is how I can describe it. After canceled and delayed flights all day, all I wanted was a nice clean bed to sleep on. Marriott did not deliver. It was obvious that this room was not cleaned before we arrived. It is truly disappointing. We asked for new sheets but we were told there was no more fitted sheets nor pillow cases which is what we needed. They switched us to a new room after we asked. Any other customer service would be apologetic and offer us solutions instead of us asking for it. We pay for a hotel with the expectation that we would arrive to at least clean sheets but Marriott truly disappoints."

"Hotel is in a great location close to Temple Square, Salt Palace and City Creek Center. Rooms are comfortable. Food was horrible. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was full of stale breads and pastries, cardboard pancakes and powdered eggs. I've had better free breakfasts at budget hotels. This was a disappointing stay. If location is not the priority, stay at the City Center Marriott 2 blocks away. The property is newer and the breakfast is fantastic."
