"Lived here for 2 years. Apartments themselves are okay, but old and cheaply maintained. While the maintenance people were kind, it was difficult to get most things done. I was treated pretty poorly by some management several times, but I suppose they deal with difficult people very often because of the price point and poor quality of tenants that tend to live here. Laundry in basement was disgustingly bad the entire time I lived there, including their poor excuse for a remodel."

"To whom it may concern, Ponderosa Apartments, I have been patiently waiting for a response from your staff for about 3 months now. I have made several attempts to reach out to you and I feel that my only option left is to leave you a review in an effort to make contact and come to a closure. I also want to address all possible future tenets of all the inconveniences I had to suffer through. I had the misfortune of living here with over six flooding in my apartment in the one year’s contract. That is over half of my stay! I had to deal with maintenance leaving industrial fans running for several days at a time because the flooding was so bad. On my first day moving-in, multiple Neighbors warned us that, “the previous tenants moved out because the floods are so bad, it ruined all of their personal belongings and management is careless.” I mistakenly ignored their warnings, and decided to stay anyway. The 3rd party maintenance had to come after a flooding and mentioned, ‘‘The foundation of the building is damaged and that is causing the water to seep out of the walls". The building is at a tilt causing water to pool on the South East section of the building. – You can visibly see this. Even after the fix was made to patch new drywall it kept on leaking the whole time. The bathroom fan was broken, causing ridiculous amounts of noise all day and night. It couldn't be shut-off for a month before getting help. The dishwasher never got used because it did not work. The carpets were supposed to be new but smelled terrible. I hired a professional to come clean it before and after moving in to try to combat the smell. To avoid any dispute with my deposit, not only did I hire a professional clean the carpets and had a group of people help me deep clean the apartment. I moved out April-4-2018 with over 30- Days’ notice and I still have not received a dime of my deposit or a single correspondence after making contact June 11th! This is one of many examples of you guys violating the contract! PLEASE respond back to me! I would hate to have to take legal action, If you guys are doing this to me after all I went through, I’m sure it has happened to someone else in the past or currently. TO ALL FUTURE TENANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are in desperate need of a home and this is the only place you are able to get approved, Do NOT move into the lower floors! All tenants hate the lower floor due to garbage being thrown from the upper balconies and the frequent floods! Also be aware that we had two individuals try to break into our apartment at two separate occasions in one year, (Police were called). Most people in Ponderosa are decent individuals, but do expect the building to smell like weed every night. Also expect to wait a looong time to get any sort of help from Concept Properties- since they are always too busy to answer the phone. (Maintenance guys are good and fast most of the time) I will not wait longer than Tuesday July-3-2017 to contact some one for help if I do not get some sort of contact from your organization or get my full deposit back by then. "If I could give negative stars, I would. I have insects (spiders, earwigs, spiders etc.) black mold in my bathroom, countless maintenance requests that they "say" they fix, but everything is still broken. I asked to move countless of times but they say I got to pay this ridiculous amount to get out. I'm a single mother & they have me living here with black mold!! Just recently the waterheater in the floor above mine broke, and my place is flooded, & all they did was put fans everywhere lmao. They don't care! Screw these apartments! DONT MOVE HERE!"
