"As someone that has lived here for 2 years (2022-2024) I definitely have a lot to say about this building. But quick review is that new management is great! When I first lived here the management was awful. The hot tub was broken for an entire year and the elevators were constantly down. However, there is now new management and they are doing an incredible job. Within a few months of them taking over the hot tub opened up again and the elevators have never been broken. They are also very friendly and respond super quick. As far as the actual unit themselves go (I have an unrennovated one): there's an in-unit washer and dryer which is super nice. I have a cornerstone set up and the deck is in the master bedroom which is very odd. We rarely have issues, but if we do maintence is so quick to fix them which is great. The amenities are nice- I've never actually used the theatre but the gym is great. There is lots of equipment options. Only a few of the machines (one eliptical and one treadmill) don't work. There is never cleaner for the machines and for some reason the bathrooms are always blown up (I don't blame elevate lol). Having a parking garage is very nice and generally I feel pretty safe. This building does valet trash- a blessing and a curse. It's so nice to not have to haul trash down, but when everyone puts their stuff out it really makes the halls smell weird and there is no scent things to cover it. There is also no AC in the halls which is actually horrible in the summer both because of the smell and the discomfort when entering/ leaving the building. If you move in the summer be prepared to sweat... As far as location goes this place is pretty great. It's super close to campus, downtown, the Trax, and grocery stores. There is a fire station nearby so you will hear sirens all night, but you get used to it."
"Beware of shady schemes! Leasing office will lead you to believe they are giving you a discounted rate and will ask you to pay a $299 admin fee to hold the unit while the application is being approved. When you review the actual lease the base rent will not be discounted, there will be a line in the contract where the promised discount is applied for the first year (and the deal is void if your payment is ever late) they will not make it clear to you what the deal is and by the time you have the terms in writing the deposit is not refundable. They will take zero responsibility for misinforming you or incompetence of their staff providing incorrect information at multiple points during gen application process."
"Couldn't give them 0 stars so I gave them 1. Experiences from terrible management to absolutely disgusting garbage practices. Watch out for the homeless you will encounter outside and inside the property, as they will sneak their way in and the security provider doesn't arrive within the hour you call them. In my first week as a resident I learned the elevator was down, it got fixed a year and a half after I moved in. I could say a lot more about this horrible complex but, I don't want to waste anymore time. I wouldn't recommend this dump to anyone."
"In 2020 I moved into this place. I lived here for two years. As the 60 days notices trapped me into a renewal or to pay even more money to move out. Worst experience renting. They charge you an arm and leg for all these “Amenities” I saw the hot tub working once. The fountain as well. The theatre the project is always broken. We had homeless try breaking into our unit! While we were sleeping. There is homeless all over this property. One was living in a stairwell in the garage for months. They had to sand blast the bottom floor to get his smell out. They ended up sand blasting my car that I paid 60 dollars to park under ground to keep the homeless away. I also had two of my cars broken into TWICE! I asked them to see if there was any footage as they stole a couple grand of tools out of my cars. Of course the cameras were not working that day. Glad I paid 50 dollars a month for the cameras and they don’t work when my cars get their windows smashed, as well as the 10 other tenants cars that got broken into that day, 0 help! Ironically the next day they sent me footage of “me stealing someone’s package that was clearly labeled in the footage as my last name. The elevators were all broken down for the entire two years I lived here. Up and down the stairs to the 5th floor for two years with groceries. The land lords are horrible and seem to blame everything on external factors. They charge you for every single thing there including the lights in the hallway that don’t work the pool the elevators the cameras the secured parking, Pool table. None of it worked the entire time I lived there. I hope a class action lawsuit happens at some point to get all of our money back from your scam Wayne. I have so much footage of this place that would go the distance on a lawsuits. Fire alarms go off constantly. Sprinklers bursting in the garage and flooding the area. If you are trying to move out they are going to take all your deposits and charge you extra cleaning fees no matter what you do. This place is a nightmare on 5th stay away!"
"Me and my friends still have nightmares about this place. - The Walgreens directly next to the apartment building plays the same 3 awful classical music songs from 7am to 11pm everyday. It is intended to deter loitering so it is purposely horrendous. Too bad I paid to live right above it. - You are lucky if any of the 3 elevators work. Every time you want to use the elevator it is a gamble as to which (if any) work that day. This has to violate some ADA law since this prevents people with disabilities from reliable access. They will say that they are doing all they can but this has been a problem for years. - Hallways smell terrible since everyone leaves their trash outside their doorstep for trash collection which is also unreliable. - Multiple times a month you will be forced outside by the fire alarm. I have seen many people not leave since they are so used to false alarms. - Management seems nice at first but will ultimately do nothing about your concerns. I remember one of them asked me to leave a review within my first week because he saw that I was happy. I'm glad I waited. It is now a year later and I couldn't leave any faster. - There are no amenities. No matter what they say online. Hot tub doesn't ever work, pool table is unkempt, shuffleboard is incomplete, theater room is abysmal. - My apartment balcony was covered in bird poop when I moved in but then they still had the audacity to charge me a cleaning fee when I moved out despite me leaving the place way better than they left it to me. If you're reading this then know that you can do better. Good luck."
