The Hardison

"Do not under any circumstances live here. It’s is an amazing place to live for the first month or two… but you are paying so much more a month for so much less. For a 1x1 it’s over $2000 a month after utilities… and most of the utilities is a “common area maintenance” charge that gets astronomically high each month ($100-$150) the hot tub is green or broken most of the time; elevators are constantly out of order, the hallways are constantly filled with trash all over and smell horrendous, and you pay monthly for a secure parking garage that gets broken into every week or the garage door is just constantly open all night long. My car is in disrepair because of how many vandals break in and destroy stuff and the property never responds. There are homeless people sleeping in the stairwells and in the parking lot behind the building. I’ve had 3 of my Amazon delivers stolen and countless doordash orders taken right from my front door… I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve NEVER in my 4 years of living in Salt Lake have I experienced so much crime and being so violently uncomfortable than living here. The property doesn’t respond and they do not care."

"We have been here a little over a year, at first it was great, then everything starts to break down. The garage is broken at least twice a month, the hot tub is usually down half of the month or a couple weeks and once in a while the elevator stops working too. It's a new place they cut corners (pandemic building) so we were understanding. The one that really did it for us, is our bike getting stolen out of a camera supervised key fob access only area, to which their response was.... they only keep footage from two weeks ago... we pay for security every month and since this wasn’t the first time this happened we found out, we would have appreciated some sort of communication to the residents from the get go. So anyway, great location nice staff, the rest of the building is just a big cash grab slowly breaking down with a bird problem year round."

"Had a great tour of the place yesterday! The property manager Erik was honestly amazing, he seemed like a great guy and made me feel like if I settle on the Hardison then I can always reach out if I had any issues. The apartments were also spacious with great views. Still deciding between getting a apartment with a roommate or living on my own but if I choose the latter than the Hardison will definitely be in my top choices. Definitely recommend touring the apartment building if you are looking for a place!"

"I moved in a couple of months ago and I love my home! The process was really quick and easy - especially coming from out of state. Management is responsive and understanding. Devon was really helpful and accommodating during the whole process and move in. He even came in on a Sunday when their office was closed because of a travel delay. Very grateful! The building is brand new and my apartment is so cute with a lot of natural light. The location is amazing because you get the convenience and views of downtown, but it feels more private and secure where it is placed. I’ve gotten to know some of my neighbors who are amazing! I hope in the future they will consider hosting resident get togethers because I would love to know more. I love my downtown home!"

"We have two cats and didn't think we could find a pet friendly apartment we'd love as much as our last one. We visited Hardison and got a tour from Erik. He made us feel incredibly welcome and is a joy to work with! We have finally moved in and we definitely love this apartment & community even more than our last!"
