"Do NOT move into this place!!! This is a dog & duck poop dump with management on top of you in your business ever l moment you leave the confines of your unit ! Dealing with the terrible management just trying to move into this place was a total nightmare in itself. Then you live here and everywhere you walk on the sidewalks and every little patch of lawn the are massive piles of rotting dog poop everywhere. It is totally disgusting and unsanitary. Should you have any issue at all while living here management will not work with you and looks to charge you extra fees everywhere they can. Management will be following you around spying on you like you’re in some sort of controlled camp. There is absolutely no privacy or respect! Upon completion of your lease even though you are the best tenant and always pay your rent on time they will still raise your rent price double if you wanted to stay. Stay away from this place!!! Save yourself a lot of headache and rent somewhere else."
"Please, if you can help it, DO NOT move into this apartment complex. Especially if you are disabled, have children, animals, or otherwise any vulnerability that might cause problems if you do not have access to water for extended periods of time. They very often shut off access to running water. If you’re lucky enough to get notified, it will only be a few minutes to an hour in advance. The water will be off for hours. You will have no way to cook, bathe, use the toilet, run faucets, clean, use water in medical/fire/etc. emergencies, etc. I am not exaggerating. The other reviews are not exaggerating. Do not make my same mistake and think “oh, surely it can’t be that bad.” Not only is it this bad, it is actually much worse! Cobble Creek will not supply you with water during these shut offs. They will not take accountability for the fact that they are depriving people of their most basic human needs. It seems that this will not stop anytime soon. I am disabled with chronic medical issues and it has been a true nightmare having to wake up in the middle of the night and find out that I have no water to tend to my needs… My partner and I are deeply upset by this, we never anticipated that we’d struggle with not having running water while living in the middle of Salt Lake City paying for a luxury apartment complex. This is affecting my health. My heart goes out to the many parents of small children who live here. I cannot imagine the dread I would feel if my child needed something in the middle of the night that required running water. If you are disabled or live with anyone who is disabled, do not move here. It’s beyond reasonable housing access issues. This is the kind of complex that pretends to be accommodating and helpful online and up front, but will treat even its able-bodied residents heartlessly. When I first moved in, I provided information to the leasing office many weeks in advance notifying them of my task-trained medical alert Service Dog. I provided all the required documentation and did my part. I was assured that they were working on it. Spoiler alert: they lied. A day or two before my move-in date, I was informed that I was not allowed to bring my Service Dog, as Cobble Creek had not processed the paperwork yet. I was kind to them up until this point. The assistant manager, Aurora, was rude and callous. I am prescribed this dog to assist with my disability. He provides me with life-saving medical alerts along with other tasks. I was told by Aurora that I should consider getting rid of him! I had no choice but to go Karen on them. After being sent in circles by Aurora while she avoided taking a single shred of accountability, I was finally able to track down the regional manager of MAXX Properties. After contacting him there were suddenly zero issues with me bringing my Service Dog. On move-in date, we entered our unit shocked to find a fully carpeted living room. We had specifically applied for this unit because it said the floors had been replaced with vinyl. Our leasing agent told us that it was because the previous tenant didn’t have animals so they weren’t going to replace the carpet. That was such baloney. There is evidence of pets having lived in this unit previously—the bathroom door is chewed up, there was old pet hair everywhere, and the carpets reeked of dog urine. There were spots all over the balcony door and walls where a dog had clearly lifted its leg to piss. My partner and I had to hire an outside cleaning company to sanitize the place same day. We were exhausted from having to fight them on me bringing my Service Dog that we just couldn’t fight them on the carpet. Come to realize, that’s Cobble Creek’s specialty. They will exhaust you with one lie after another, one hidden fee on your rent after another, one denial of basic human rights after another, that you’re so exhausted and money-gouged in the end you can’t fight them on anything else. The way it stands, I would not recommend living here to my worst enemy."
"You will experience several issues living in this complex. The apartments are old, don't let the fancy model or new paint fool you. The water lines break frequently and you will be left without water for long periods of time without notice. If they tell you the gate is being worked on, it isn't. The security is poor. You will see them advertising a "year-round" pool and spa, this is also untrue. It is open for maybe 2 months during the summer, but neither the pool or hot-tub is maintained well. The views are beautiful, but management will consistently deny any responsibility to the tenants or their concerns. It will be one problem after another and you will hear nothing other than excuses and management will be more defensive than understanding toward any of your concerns. Here are some photos of what you will see during the summer months during the constant and loud renovations/maintenance that you will experience during what are supposedly the most relaxing months. I wish I had read more reviews before moving in as I would've learned how horribly Maxx Properties has treated the complex since the property changed hands."
"We moved in here in September of 2023. Kristen, is who I spoke to when I inquired about availability. I told her the reason we had to urgently move and she was so amazing and got us out of the place we were in and into this place. Turns out she had been in a similar situation and knew what I was going through. She was amazing to work with. Everyone here is friendly and a joy to work with! I FINALLY feel safe in my own home again!"
"Cobble Creek has the coolest vibe for an apartment complex! Especially in Utah, I haven't come across a complex that has so much ambiance. There is a really great duck pond, pool and gazebo outside. The clubhouse was recently remodeled and has a lot of amazing spaces on the inside! It's a very coastal feel, right on the water and has the coolest tech space and billiards room. The balcony is the perfect place to spend a ln evening or morning chatting with a friend or just spending time to think."
